The volume of our voice has nothing to do with the efficacy of our prayers. Since we are human beings,we pray according to the abundance of our heart, thats why when we are angry with our situation and disturbed about our present predicament, most people tend to shout while praying.

Prayer is a spiritual thing. God and even demons can hear you pray no matter how silent you are.

Its the confidence of faith that makes prayer effective not the shouting.. Lets learn to be civil with our prayers for the sake of the people around us.

some people just likes it when others see that they are praying or can pray thereby might not be doing it 100% for the sake of God. but one who prays with just a mumbling lip or in the heart, which is my kind of prayer, does that because he knows that God sees his/her heart and will reward d secret prayer

Shouting to some people steer them to concentrate even more. We all are differently wired, in structure, emotion and other wise just as the military shout and chat for moral. Let's not generally cage those who shout during prayers into one emblem.

Some people spit, roll over or even cry while praying. Anything that works for you, you do it if you're satisfied. I pray silently if it's small thing like headache but roll and somersault if it's something like contract or financial blessing.

Its not about hearing problem. Its the distance from here to heavan far gaaann. The distance is why prayers dont make it. Go get a huge loudspeaker, turn it towards heaven and begin pray. Try am. You go come back here and witness the truth.
