mmsen:before mobile phone (gsm) came to nigeria, it was in ghana already.. Ghana started Electronic data capturing of foreigners, my country nigeria recently started.. The day I left ghana, I exited electronically(my passport was placed in a device).. At aflao border... Coming to nigeria( seme border), I was manually registered (I can understand as a Nigerian) but A white foreigner with nigerian resident permit was registered manually.. Note: ofcourse, this technology is in airports.. ATM, ghana started... Mobile banking, ghana started.. Prepaid and digital postpaid meter, ghana started... Or maybe u will tell me now that nigeria is supplying Ghana electricity so hence, nigeria started digital postpaid/prepaid technology.. during the time ghana went electronical in goods clearing, my brother in customs were using manuals.. But I am open to a debate where you think we started.. There is what I do tell my gh friends, it is not by starting first but how you finish... If you look at IT, banking, ghana started 1st but today nigeria is ahead.. This is where I respect Nigeria Nigeria suffered lots of set backs due to military rule. Unlike ghana they were d pioneers of democracy which brought change.. There was new implementation, new technology, lots of try and errors... |

From the little source I gathered about ghana, they have stable electricity, quite good / neat roads, law abiding and coordinated. That aside, even though in terms of basic/psychological needs like electricity, road, education in Ghana, Nigeria is ahead of them in terms of infrastructure and GDP. We often think it's greener on the other side which is not so most time. If not for the issue of our epileptic power supply, corruption and other lack of basic amenities, Nigeria should be toe to toe with south Africa and some European countries in terms of infrastructure or even far better |

emmysoftyou:This one just made me laugh Nigeria control what ? We provide a save haven do good people in Nigeria to have a sound mind to keep their money Ghana is an expensive place to live period and there are reasons why. Our consumer taxes are way higher and it's going to get even higher if government decides to take the current suggestion that will enable that country tax every single Ghanaian that deserve to pay tax. |

Pidginwhisper:You are very much right. Nigeria still better than Ghana economic wise. I live and work here is Ghana for a year plus now, and I do advice people don't think Ghana is better than Nigeria ooo |
| Re: My Ghana Experience 2017 by 360command: 10:39pm On Nov 30, 2017 |
wristbangle:read your statement again.. You are using the condition "if".. Ok, let me tell you.. Every country can use "if".. Do you think Ghana don't have it problems?.. "If ghana should concentrate more on its problems, it should be at toe to toe with south Africa" " if south Africa should concentrate more on its problem, perhaps it would be heaven". / You don't know how to talk.. Don't based d condition on if... There is no excuse.... Please, ghana is where it is because of cocoa.. Nigeria was into cocoa, what happened? Is it not the same cocoa ghana used to build its school, electricity, roads, health etc... What did nigeria do with its cocoa? Ogbeni, don't come and shout GDP or infrastructure because your/my country has spent more to achieve lesser resources and ghana has spent less to achieve greater resources.. Nigerians are like haitians... Haitians where on the same level with the Dominican long back... But Haiti messed up in the long run and given so much excuses... |

makydebbie:I am not arguing about west hills mall not been the largest but I am telling u that Novare Lekki Mall is as big as it is. Google it sister. The question of quantities/qualities of mall sef doesn't define a strong economy. Anyway Eko Atlantic project is on the way which would bolster the largest mall in Africa ![]() |

360command:Well the answer to statement is that unfortunately Nigeria is plagued with past & present leadership which is having a derogatory effects on its citizens. About cocoa, we were doing fine but we ignore it for oil&gas. Just30:Okay till then. |
