How old is your baby?
36.6 is fine
It's when it gets to 37 that you should be worried (that's if your baby is less than 6 months if I recall correctly)
If your baby is past the 6th month mark then 36.6 is fine

Good morning and happy new month mummies and daddies in the house.
May we all witness the new year in good health and sound mind in Jesus name.

Please advice needed.
My ds will be 5 months on Wednesday and I wish to introduce cereal. He has been on BM and Nan1.
Which cereal is good and affordable for babies now? I used frisogold 8years ago. I have read here sisters mentioning cow&gate and Gerber cereal.
I also wish to do some natural baby food. Suggestions will be appreciated.

Ps: Abeg I need tutorial on how to use the share icon on post (I discovered that all post I have clicked share for reference purposes are no where to be found) as well as how to private chat.

Jazzyjazz and MizMyColi lol. Una doh, let me just be waiting for sabi Mamas to educate on this weaning cos discipline starts in January
Pweetiebabe at 1 month old I'm not comfortable advising anything oh. I think going to the hospital is best. Get a washcloth and mop him down with lukewarm water. Watch for a couple hours after that and if no improvement, seeing a doctor may be best.
Hernyhola I use Cerelac and Nutribom. Both are affordable but Nutribom is cheaper grin grin grin

Depending on the weight of your baby, some babies can't regulate their own temp. Check signs for cold feet, hands. To conclude. Check his temperature, consistently for two to three days,at same time. Better his waking up time, to get his temperature.Note it somewhere, if a sudden dip or rise, will now tell you what's off. However, guaging temp. With your hands is not the best. You could be the one with a problem either running a temp. Or vice versa.
Using the thermometer is sure.
Abeg, mopping with water is not the first thing to do.
Rather give para drop, then take to hospital ,especially a child not up to three months.
Try, having a paediatrician phone number, in case.
Take care.

@Mammybabe, i dont think green poop is always a thing to worry about tho except it’s been on for a long time. When i introduced my baby to formula, he had green poop for about a week after which it changed to the normal colour(brown). I thought it was the presence of iron or just simply a change in his meal and after his body got used to it, it went back to normal.

@hernyhorla, if you are just checking the L&S option on the homepage, you will not find it. Click on ur name, it will take u to ur profile page where u’ll find “posts i’ve shared”, you should find it there.

For the cereal, cow and gate is good and affordable i guess. A pack of 6 goes for 6900 here and u do not need milk. Started with my baby yesterday and i didnt see a single spit out, someone that can spit out milk for africa, he even tried to force it out but for where, it had settled in his stomach. That alone has made me approve it lol.

Mama, crawling is not a milestone for babies
Some babies don't crawl
Some go from sitting to scooting to walking
Don't stress about it
He will crawl when he's ready or he may just walk instead

My son didn't crawl early and he had a lot of weight too. It didn't bother me. One day I put him to sit at usual, and went about my chores. Came back to see him crawling
Thanks mama

pls leave him and let him be jare. Is he sitting, rolling over from front to back and vice versa. That is how some mamas said my 7months baby ought to be clapping by now. Your baby might not even crawl at all before walking.
Yes he is sitting and rolling over. Thanks ma'am

This is late but I think you should suspend the walker for a while. I read some children get so dependent on it that trying to get themselves around on their own is stressful so they don't bother. My baby was about 9kg at 6 months and he crawled and is walking without issues. Your baby's weight is fine

OK, I'll try and suspend it to see if he'll make a move. he's so free on the walker that he follows me about from the sitting room to the kitchen, scatter every where for me. Thanks

Frisocrem make sense pass, but the rate of consumption and the proportional cost is Geometrically alarming.
