Nigeria Placed In Group D with Argentina (world Cup 2018) - How Far Can We Go? by Serendip(op): 4:55pm On Dec 01, 2017
Nigeria has been placed in group D in the forthcoming world cup taking place in Russia.

What are your thoughts? Do you think we can get to the knockout stages this time?
Re: Nigeria Placed In Group D with Argentina (world Cup 2018) - How Far Can We Go? by Serendip(op): 5:00pm On Dec 01, 2017
My thoughts

I think Russia has the easiest group

I think it's a walkover for Brazil

I think group F can be termed as the "group of death" arguably though.

I think from Africa, only Senegal and Nigeria will qualify from their respective groups.

Overall I think the draws are pretty much fair.

OP, how can you create the thread and be FTC ehn?

Let's see if we can win Iceland and force a draw with Argentina and Croatia, we'll be through as 2nd most likely.

We should be able to handle Iceland and Croatia is not so great a team. Argentina is the main worry.

If we go with Keke, we myt not go far buh I think we're going with Lamborghini Veneno.. Lets say Knockout stage is our last bus stop... we'ld stop and buy fuel against Croatia buh we are still gonna get to our last bus stop.

Thank You.

meeting Argentina again for me is an opportunity to proof we can defeat them once more...

it OK since we'll be playing them as our third match, by them we should have gained enough points with other teams...

I don't see Nigeria going far at all. First is croatia. they will roast Nigeria to ashes. Then we get a draw against iceland before argentina now trash Nigeria 4-1. Nigeria will leave that group with a single point.
Re: Nigeria Placed In Group D with Argentina (world Cup 2018) - How Far Can We Go? by cescky(m): 5:05pm On Dec 01, 2017
sad

It's a fair group

Them done give Ronaldo Iran whey ego score 11 goals, for one match come collect highest goal scorer

Iceland would qualify from this group with the kind of football they played in Euro.

Argentina would be determined if Messi turns up for the tournament, if not they go out for nigeria

Depends on the fixtures, if we play the other 2 before meeting Argentina, then we can make it out of the group.

I just don't feel comfortable playing them first.

Argentina don enter one chance with Nigeria again,
Argentina 1-3 Nigeria
Iceland 1-2 Nigeria
Croatia 0-1 Nigeria
Nigeria is topping the group this time.
Re: Nigeria Placed In Group D with Argentina (world Cup 2018) - How Far Can We Go? by Nbote(m): 5:05pm On Dec 01, 2017
Why's everyone ignoring Iceland and Croatia in particular? Argentina may not b as easy as we think but atleast we've got dat morale boosting win against dem ... I think we shld b more concerned about Croatia and Iceland considering how impressive dey were at d last Euros and d qualifiers but dey both are beatable
