Nigeria's government is useless huh
Hahaha, I have said it several times on this platform and some lunatics came insulting me, telling me that they are patriotic Nigerians, Nigeria is a useless wicked jungle and I suggest it should be sold off on eBay to richer nations, Nigeria will soon become the country with the highest number of poor people by February 2018, l pity those who live in delusion thinking that things will change, the useless politicians are feeding fat while the masses are dying, what a useless country, it is better to be a 6th class citizen in the West and fulfill your destiny than to be proud of a useless country called Nigeria angry

How Nigeria government is useless, can you tell me the percentage of Nigerian that have access to scholarship without political interference. How many of these people sponsored by government is giving back to public. Greater percentage of people sponsored themselves without government intervention and they should also look elsewhere to complement government efforts. Most of government sponsored Nigerian elite today didn't appreciate, they only came back to destroy Nigeria and loot treasury dry.

No they can't. They are on student visas with restriction on working hours.

No company operating legally will give them work beyond the restrictions of their visas.

Plus any reasonable graduate work will very likely require them to work fulltime, beyond the working hours permitted for their student visas.

Do a menial job with their restricted working hours? They will barely make enough money to feed, pay rent and pay their bills, let alone save over £10,000 for their tuition.

I hope I was able to paint a good enough picture for you?
Re: Nigerian PHD Students Stranded In UK (Photos) by tete7000(m): 7:53pm On Dec 01, 2017
This is why they are Nigerians. The most punishing scholarships are one given by our government. Students are always made to suffer. Quite unfortunately, some of those who once suffered also get into position of authority and yet couldn't still change anything. It is as if we are a cursed people. Simple things everybody do right, we can't get right.
