Can I Use My Dads Old Nafdac Number That Was Registered In 2003? by ChrisKonor(op): 10:56pm On Dec 01, 2017
Hello i lost my dad in 2003. He ventured into sachet water biz then but he died while nafdac was still processing the digits. After his death his digits came but the business was discontinued. Now i wanna venture into sachet water biz, what do you think?

Will i be allowed to use it with the same business name he used? And must it have gotten expired or something? Please i need help.

Yes you can since it's the same business name.
Only you'd need to get it renewed.

A NAFDAC registration certificate (and/or its renewal) is valid for a period of 5 years from the registration/renewal date.

There's a proverb that says only a stubborn goat chews the same leave that killed his father.

Why not venture into another business?

Try and register yours and change the company name.

Families have a funny way of claiming what does not belong to them once you break through.

Ever sarcastic and blunt fellow,

You will not commit murder through verbal incitement.

You gave a nice advice but how are you sure the fathers death is related to the business?
