hahaha that's so funny. what they dont know is that because of their cheap standard of living and their dubious means in Nigeria, they think they are rich until they travel to Ghana , s. a or USA then they know they are poor. the most funny thing is they complain like crybabies.

sorry to rein in your parade,i dont know if you guys in ghana do elementary economics in school. A country with low per capita income and yet prices of goods and services are on the high. It simply shows one thing, that the economy is dysfunctional.Over the years Ghana has been suffering from monetary inflation, reason why the currency is constantly been devalued by the central bank of Ghana. Remember the last time Ghana had to re-denominate there worthless currency by taking away 2digits(zeros) from there currency.
You equated your dysfunctional economy with USA and South Africa, without considering there relatively high per capita income.
...in the streets of Ghana, people constantly protest about the rising cost of living and are encourage to eat cheap pkanke(not so sure of the spelling),then cool off there anger by listening to musics by wizkid, phyno, davido,Psquare,Olamide,Flavour and sometimes sarkodie, before i forget the endless stream of nollywood movies courtesy of your Big brother Nigeria. Cheers!

Another Ghana thread! undecided

Ghana is better to Nigeria in terms of basic amenities availability but in terms of economic dominance and the number of rich people, Nigeria has it.

Whch basic amenities do they have in Ghana that we dont have here , apart from power- which we sell them?

When it comes to healthcare and education, you can have the best in Nigeria, but you better be wealthy

They have constant electricity supply, probably good roads and educational system to us.

Speaking of their per capital income and their economic GDP, it can't compete with Nigeria.

As regard their constant electricity, a population of 28million can be fed with 4,500MW but a population of 200million with 5,000MW. U see we have a lot to do!

Don't mind that guy abeg, Nigeria actually has a higher GDP per capita and considering our population, the Nigerian market is no match for that of Ghana, aside their much flaunted electricity supply and alomo ,what else does Ghana offer.
They import virtually everything from Nigeria and copy our music artists and nollywood.
Actually four zeros were removed, it was over 9,000cedis to a dollar before re-denomination to 0.9cedis to a dollar but today it has depreciated to 4.485cedis to a dollar making cost of living higher.
We complain of the fall of the naira but see how the value of the cedi fell and do the mathematics involved. This means that if those four zeros weren't removed, a dollar in Ghana will be going for more than 40,000 cedis and they'd be carrying money in barrows like Zimbabweans some time ago for basic household needs.
Lazy things that import everything

Aside electricity and alomo, what else can Ghana boast of? Ghana can't even even stand Lagos whose GDP is higher than that of Ghana with almost same population, it is Nigeria you want to rub shoulders with.

All the vehicles you use in Ghana as a whole is less than those on the streets of Lagos alone, lazy people and that's why we are pushing you guys out of business even in your domain in Ghana. Can Ghanaians try that in Nigeria without being crushed out?
Admit it that you can never rub shoulders with Nigeria, you can try maybe with Rivers or Anambra state but never Lagos and never Nigeria.

Definitely they can't compete with Nigeria especially Lagos in terms of GDP.

Had it been there is constant electricity supply and other basic amenities, Nigerians would quickly leave ghana.

Ghana's GDP is lower than that of Lagos, you can google that.
Nigerians in Ghana are only taking over their economy there simply because Ghanaians are lazy and can't see opportunities even staring at them, Nigerians are not slackers and you know that.
We even help them yearly with over $1billion injected into their economy from Nigerian students who study there and they don't appreciate.
