How lagos igbos are trading their heritage for Yoruba in lagos by Osaze007: 4:22pm On Dec 02, 2017
I have observed in the next 10 years the Igbo in lagos will loose identity
Their children don’t speak igbo anymore now they Speak only Yoruba and English.
It has gotten so bad Ibo youths are now auditioning for Yoruba movies
Their women are married off
And the Yoruba culture is absorbing them
The new Igbo generator is investing all their life savings in Yoruba land
Building only house in their village
I pity the Igbo race

And I quote :

Don't derail the topic, give us the statistical backup of your hardwork via IGR. Besides, how man non-indegenes do you allow to thrive in your hostile, crime-infested, erosion-ravaged region of yours? Hostility drives investors away from your region, while tolerance and accommodation herald prosperity to the SW.US is a nation amorphous people, its greatness. We will continue to be tolerant untill your region is made desolate and uninhabitable by enticing all your productive people to our region. All your well-to-do people have their investments in SW and more are still coming. We USA of Nigeria. It is just a strategic policy to depopulate SE by having your best brains in SW, while the block-headed, never-do-well ones are left in your cursed land.

How can this thread stop this:

Regarding open defecation, the highest proportion (8.8%) was found in the North Central zone,
followed by the South West (6.5%) and then North East (4.3%) zones. By contrast, a lower percentage
was recorded in the South East (3.8%) and the lowest in the North West (3.6%). The likely reason for
higher prevalence of open defection in the North Central and South West zones is that their forest
vegetation provides more room for the practice, unlike the grassland vegetation in the North West
where the practice is the least used. Although, South East zone has more dense vegetation but has
lower prevalence of open defecation than the North East, suggesting an influence of other factors
such as education and wealth.

Funny enough, even the yoruba children that are growing up in lagos these days hardly speak yoruba language, unless of course they are privileged to be growing up in the slums and godfosaken ghettos, far away from relatively standard private schools and neighbourhoods where speaking just oyinbo seem very cool.

It is a problem that is fast eroding african cultures and heritage in general because of africans inability to evolve creatively, constructively and initiatively at the moment

Why should anyone be surprised by this? 400 years of slavery did not eclipse Yoruba culture in the new world.

Solution
1 Declare a state of emergency in Afonja land with the exception of lagos.
2 Setting up of idp camps in Afonja land.
3 Funds should be made available for the toilet for every home initiative in afonja land.
Finally i hope my recommendations will be of use to anyone interested.

DONT CRY MORE THAN THE BEREAVED.

IGBOS IN LAGOS WILL CONTINUE TO DOMINATE YORUBAS AND LAGOS IS NOT YORUBA LAND.

AS 4 OUR WOMEN, THEY WILL ALL ANSWER MARRIED WOMEN WHILST YORUBA WOMEN WILL BE WITHOUT HUSBAND BECOS IGBO MEN ARE TOO BUSY MARRYING THEIR IGBO WOMEN.
