Back!....ehmmm....took a vacation!... the original one been longgg expired! It's now cold.... shorts and tee shirts put away...almost back to square one. Most of the pics were from the east side of Manhattan and Harlem where I spend most of my time. Will now try to take pix from the west side and in the heart of Manhattan....Times Square etc.
Queens...about to touch down....JFK arrivals... all is well...will.make grand appearance under clock!

Is new York state so big that you travel within the state with flight?

Yes...people do...depends on distance. New York City and Buffalo...two cities in NYS.... like 1 hr 30 mins flight time.... but then you can be in Buffalo and shout at someone in Canada!

How cold is new York? My uncle said if you leave a cup of water outside for 5mins it's gonna turn into ice block

NYC...been busy like Santa....and will be until 25th.
Apple Store...Brooklyn. Can see right thru the store from one street to the other.....employees in red...note... no seats for anyone to be sitting!

NYC.... Manhattan.....getting off the highway on the edge of the island and into the streets and avenues. Entering the city via 42nd Street exit....looking across the city (guess 46th St)
United Nations Headquarters. ..partial front view...most of these buildings are wayyy too tall...have to be a longgg way away to capture the entire building in a shot.

New york is so different from the south visually. I stay in Texas and these pics amaze me somehow. It's like another country.

NYC....first snow fall for the winter!.....light snow...but non stop from mid morning and slowly piling up as the day drags on. No wind so doesn't feel that cold....kinda nice while it is snowing...but feels colder before it snows...and when it stops.
