PROJECT: Construction of bridge on Nengo river on Nteje - Umunya road.
CLIENT: Chief Dr Willie Obiano, Executive Governor of Anambra state.
It is only a drunkard will usurp a state project as his own private project. It is really a shame and very frustrating even though most of them are educated but they still behave like motor park touts.

The hardship encountered by road users plying Nteje-Nengo Bridge will soon be a thing of the past with the ongoing construction work on the bridge.

Works Correspondent Ngozi Obileri monitored pace of work on the project and reports that
When ABS arrived Nengo bridge Nteje, massive work were on going at various stages including earth work and drilling of beams among others.

Speaking to ABS, the site Engineer, Mr. Magdy Khoyri explained that work started three weeks ago on the thirty six meter bridge project with two apartments.

Mr. Khoyri noted that they would complete the second apartment before Christmas.

He added that the contract which is only for the bridge would be handed over to the state government in April next year.

This is a governor few days after his reelection still commissioning projects and embarking on new ones, ignorant souls miles away from Anambra who doesn't know what motorist face on this very road will be writing rubbish, this very road and bridge is alternative to deplorable Enugu/Onitsha express road abounded by FG, many travelers face difficulties while trying to use old bridge.

According to the pics, one can deduce that it is a verry small project that should be given to the local government to handle, but somewhere in Anambra a whole gov is taking glory for it.
