I'm 28 weeks and my stomach has been tightening and releasing after a while for like 2 days now and I just concluded it must be Braxton Hicks but it became frequent yesterday night that I had to see a doc this morning.
Now doc is admitting me for preterm contraction, pls help me understand this o cos I don't know why I'm contracting st 28 weeks. Been taking Ventolin tablets along side my routine drugs for a while now.

Are you cramping? Really hard?
Brown blood is most likely old blood finding it's way out.
Light red blood isn't good. But some women do bleed in pregnancy.
Please see a doctor and run a scan, that's the surest way to know.

My doc placed me on nifedipine tab and I feel better now. Take some time off work if possible please.

Use your pillow to support your tummy, inb/w your legs and you can enjoy your sleep. When I was preggy with my daughter around that week, the floor was my new bed, I don't even use wrapper or wear clothes.

I heard its like unsweetened milk but d sweetest taste in baby's mouth

It's light and has a weird taste, not like cows milk at all

As for the sleeping, you can sleep on either side but left is best

Funny story, I had missed sleeping on my back throughout pregnancy, after my CS I was instructed not to lift my head for any reason, but to stay flat on my back, the nurse really emphasized it. I was just like "see this woman, if you tell me to sleep on my back for 1 year, I'm ready" Till I left the hospital they were calling me madam back sleeper

Even me, I crave coke pass anything, I wanted it so badly the other day, I was seeing coke and Pepsi everywhere but I had to settle for Sprite

They told us in antenatal that caffeine usually passes through placenta to the baby's brain and it hinders brain development and foetus cannot process caffeine.
Coke and Pepsi contain caffeine

Before I got preggers I used to literally buy one whole carton of diet coke at least once a month so I had something of an addiction. It's torture having to discard it completely now.
