Batifeori:
I think Barrckodam is still lagging behind in terms of information and the new innovation called CAPS. And if you are not lagging behind, it is either you are pained in the ass for not getting admitted on CAPS(or maybe your Relative),or you are just an Ignorant.
Maybe you should go back and use the search engine to find out How the CAPS will work. Those who are getting admitted on CAPS are already admitted by their various schools also, cos it was the schools who sent names of the successful candidates to jamb for ratification/approval through CAPS before jamb notify the students about it.
And I think you should read the admission Disclaimer released by unilorin to have more knowledge about CAPS. If u are not well informed...................

Wanted commenting but your submission has said it all

Re: Abu Zaria Admission Threads by Kayceezark: 1:42pm On Dec 07, 2017
@Sokovilla i understand your plight. The thing is that, your state(Oyo state) is not a catchment area of ABU zaria and as such only the best of the best will be selected from there. I am a 300 level pharmacy student in the school, people from non-catchment areas are usually one or two.I will implore you to continue hoping for the best because 2nd list is still on the way.

My point is that, he may be admitted in the next list into a different department. It usually happens like that, so he should be prayerful and optimistic.

Thanks.. My Brother got English. I've been trying to convince him that English is not that bad, but he wouldn't listen.
Do they transfer to law? And how much is the transfer form?

Bitter truth?

English to law is impossible.

In your case, you have every odd against you

Non catchment,
No connection,
Lower faculty to higher one.

100% impossible

Advice him to accept the admission and start the session. He could buy jamb form.
There's no need for him to be gloomy because he got English language.
There's another possibility that he'll fall in love with the course and continue.
Another alternative is to go for Diploma in law and apply through D.E.

Good Morning Bosses In The House. Alhamdulillah I applied medicine and was given botany with an average of 242 frm kaduna. my que is: if I have a very good result after 100 level and I did change of course to pharmacy, will I be given? or should I take jamb or I do both i.e coc and jamb? Plus what are the job opportunities of a botanist? i.e where do they work? thanks.

In my opinion I'd say you switch course to a professional one like medicine, pharmacy or biochemistry. Botany is a good course but they rarely get job in Nigeria so you can travel abroad or be a professor of botany and lecture in a university. Good luck bro and pray for me please l haven't been considered for admission. I chose pharmacy and I'm not in ABU catchment area but I'm optimistic and prayerful!!!

we're almost the same. I had 281 and I want pharmacy from Oyo state, they haven't given me anything either and chances of making second list are slim. I think they prefer their people even if they aren't up to par... It's UI's fault I wouldn't have chosen ABU if their accreditation for pharmacy wasn't seized.
