Good day mamas,pls i want to ask if it is risky for me to start contracting at 34weeks plus. I just contracted few mins ago. i knew it cos i felt the hardness on my belle and felt funny on my nyansh/waist. should i be worried?

Ermmm mamas I'm a bit concerned that I've not started having Braxton hicks, don't even know what it feels like since they say it's a way the body prepares for the main thing. Is there any cause for alarm? Or something I can do, I'm 36weeks+

Even me, I crave coke pass anything, I wanted it so badly the other day, I was seeing coke and Pepsi everywhere but I had to settle for Sprite

They told us in antenatal that caffeine usually passes through placenta to the baby's brain and it hinders brain development and foetus cannot process caffeine.
Coke and Pepsi contain caffeine

Before I got preggers I used to literally buy one whole carton of diet coke at least once a month so I had something of an addiction. It's torture having to discard it completely now.

Really. But am not sure coke contains dat large amount of caffeine dat can cos such compared to coffee and d likes. Thanks mama,so am going on coke strike,back to my amstel malt just dat dat thing taste like herbs in my mouth now.

Since you're preggy now, they'll need your lmp so they can calculate but if you're not, they'll still need it to calculate your next period and ovulation.

I'm 28 weeks and my stomach has been tightening and releasing after a while for like 2 days now and I just concluded it must be Braxton Hicks but it became frequent yesterday night that I had to see a doc this morning.
Now doc is admitting me for preterm contraction, pls help me understand this o cos I don't know why I'm contracting st 28 weeks. Been taking Ventolin tablets along side my routine drugs for a while now.

Hello teamie, sorry about that. I experienced it too like two weeks ago, I first thought it was braxton hicks but it became really intense last week and fortunately it was my ANC. I complained and my Dr said it could be preterm labour, and asked why I managed it for a week and didn't come to the clinic. I told him it wasn't painful that's why I didn't bother. He examined me and said I should just rest well and stay hydrated. He said I should drink water always and stay off all forms of stress. I feel better now sha.

May God strengthen you. you shall carry to term and there shall be no loss IJN. Stay strong

Thanks teamie, I'm relieved I'm not the only one experiencing this. I think it has stopped now self but I'm still on drip sha, I'll try stay off stress too and rest more.
There shall be no preterm birth for us by God's grace.
