. must be paid directly to the church where one worships. It is wrong of anybody to share his or her tithe to the needy directly. The Bible says it must be brought to the storehouse which is the church.Another disappointing one coming from Abiara.Totally at variance with what the Bible preaches |

When God ask us to give to the poor, the church ask us to give to the church. |

Adenuga once told me Pastors Sam Adeyemi, Adeboye, David Oyedepo and Chris Oyakhilome belongs to a cult. How he knows i don't know. Maybe, they invited him to join. On his personal property line, i don't know if the house he resides in Oduduwa street in Ikeja GRA is his or the church. |

Tithing is not for Christians. Christians don't tithe, Foolish Christians who don't know their left from the right spiritually tithe. Pastors are more concerned about tithe than salvation. Where a man's treasure is, that's where his heart is. Do not pay tithes or offerings, we must help weed out pastors whose sole aim in ministry is exploiting people and amassing wealth. No to Tithe!!!! I do not tithe, I am wealthy and blessed all around. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. |

everybody should serve his God, gods whichever way he wants. no man should take paracetamol for another man's headache. Those condemning pastors are jobless and vision less, some of them are so poor and stingy that they can't donate 0.1% of their earnings to anything ,living or dead. Face your life ,make your own money and buy your own private jet. Don't waste your life ranting on nairaland . if you're angry with this post, suicide is not an option. |

Today na tithe If Christ walked on earth today, the same words spoken 2000 years ago would still be repeated in this case Luke 11:42 New Living Translation "What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore justice and the love of God. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things. The more important things like justice : a politician is given money to provide infrastructure, he embezzled it and bring it to the church and the pastor accepts it. Justice is asking the super rich members to help the poor among them not telling them to bring their tithe Love of God? How can someone says he loves God yet sheep under his pastoral care cannot afford school fees, clothing and food yet he flies in private jet and build schools for the rich. I am not for or against tithe but it should be voluntary and even then Pastors should make members understand that tithe alone is not a guarantee of success or good relationship with God. Justice and Love of God are more important in attracting blessings. That's what Christ said |

Two sides 1.No tithe, no salaries for pastors, missionaries, etc, and many of them are not interested in building university or buying jet.... just surviving as Nigerians. 2.Pay tithe, but it isn't right to use the money to buy houses and jets and to build empires in the sky too. And be neglecting the needy. My thirty zloty |

Some pay this tithe with the mindset of MMM, they pay not in thanksgiving but the intention is to receive interest on it! |

"If you ask to know the biblical reference, is it because of what you want to give to God? Has God not given more to us? Our welfare, the food, the planet, the water we drink, the air we breathe: are they small? Now, we want to give one-tenth to God and they are grumbling and saying they want to know the biblical basis. I am the biblical base for it and I am giving my testimony now; that the more I give to God, the more God gives to me. I am not going into that debate. Until I die and see my God, I will not go into that debate." Imagine o! They want to help us send our tithes to the Lord... Nice one

Nigerian pastors are not called by God But by private jets and earthly belongings Once you come against what actually called them to service... Expect them to retaliate against you in unison These people are determined to the extent that they make it known to you that tithes are not meant for the needy but for the church (pastors) They have forgotten that the said tithe is meant for God and Christ himself told us that whatever you do to the least of your brother that you do unto him.... Laugh when they tell you that your father in heaven has mansions for you over there while they are busy piling it Up on earth But majority of Nigerians are stupid anyways

If you are broke or struggling and keep paying tithes to these crooks you deserve to suffer. It is high time you use your brain and understand why they want your tithe, it is so that they can expand their own kingdom, make more money, further the progress of their families while you remain broke. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/NrpAsiPkqaI/hqdefault.jpg |
