The chairman of FCC United States is trying to destroy net neutrality. This means that Internet providers will control the websites we open, they will control the application we download, they will decide and control the content we read online. Net neutrality means that you can choose to do whatever you want with your data and Internet, mtn or Airtel shouldn't decide for you!! Unfortunately, the United States Government is trying to stop this net neutrality. Many big online communities and companies are protesting against this, but to my greatest surprise, Facebook and Google are mute about it. If net neutrality is destroyed, it means there are many things you won't see online. E.g they might remove Jesus christ, Bible, church or God from the Internet database through network providers If US succeeds in implementing this law, it means other nations will follow suit. Nigerian politicians would simply use this to eliminate opposition party adverts and contents online. Imagine government having the power to pull down any any news related to the technically defeated Boko haram. It concerns is more than you think. Stop misinforming people. The summary of the removal of net neutrality is giving preferential access to bandwidth to some services instead of others. For example a health related electronic service will be given preference than a video streaming service the same way an ambulance has right of way than your regular car. It does not include blocking of some content such as religious content. You guys should learn to read white papers on issues. 5 Likes |

Some of this social media outlets are agents of US CIA AND FBI Eventually it will happen in the open ...it is already happening clandestinely ; FBI controls activities of internet users through FACEBOOK, GOOGLE, INSTAGRAM , TWITTER AND THE REST...the China doesn't allow them to operate in their country.
