I know that TERRORIST would make the list. Nelson Mandela was nothing but a celebrated terrorist also a bigot and racist. He was a puppet for the then USSR and then USSR funded his Terrorism act to carry out bombings in South Africa in the name of apartheid, At first, his goal was Communism as his allies were Fidel Castrol, Stalin etc

If you really were fighting for humanitarian course, why the heck would you go bomb a church in ongoing service killing the members in it. Yes, Mandela did that.

When Nelson Mandela and the communist African National Congress (ANC) eventually took over South Africa, more than 70,000 whites were murdered and untold numbers have been robbed, raped and tortured.

Mandela has been on the US watch list and wasn't even allowed to enter the US until 2008.

Why celebrate a terrorist out of ignorance?

I condemn murder.
But what do you have to say about the thousands if not millions of blacks killed, maimed, raped, tortured and killed by the whites during the days of apathy?

And secondly, Aristotle says, "We make war so that we may live in peace."

Thirdly, Sun Tzu says- 'Attack is the secret of defense; defense is the planning of an attack.'

Emperor Selassie can't be on that list, he was only after his own tribe in Ethiopia.
It's actually the other way around. He did good things to Africa. He did also good things to Ethiopia, but he didn't gave a shite to Ethiopians for the most part.

3. Thomas Sankara, Burkina Faso

Thomas Sankara was a charismatic revolutionary leader. He rose to the rank of captain in the Burkinabe military before he was thirty years old.
In 1983, Sankara led a popularly-supported military coup against President Jean-Baptiste Ouedraogo. His motive was to end corruption and continued supremacy of the former French colonial power. He pushed for a reformed Burkina Faso through many ambitious programs for social and economic transformation.
He changed the country’s name from Upper Volta to Burkina Faso - “Land of the Upright Man” . His approach made him a favourite of many Africans.
Backed by the Western powers, Balise Compore – a close friend of Sankara, led the overthrow of Sankara in 1987. It was during this coup that Sankara was killed at the age 37.
Now this here is a man.

#respect.

i revere PA awolowo and his policies, he brought out the best in the Yoruba nation and no leader of our has been able to match his outstanding leadership. I place hi among the likes of Nelson Mandela, Kwame nkrumah but Thomas Sankara had he lived would probably have made Africa greater than Europe and the USA. the others I mentioned earlier fought for their people. Sankara wanted to liberate the whole of Africa. he wanted us to stop them from taking our resources, make the whites build their technology here instead of taking our oil away to refine, our cotton to produce, he knew the value of western education too so he wasn't a blind bigot oblivious to the facts. In my opinion he was the greatest African leader that ever lived
Guy like you said he brought out the best in the yoruba nation..So frend we are talking AFRICA here not yoruba nation.

Thomas Sankara is the man on this list.

This man was a strong pan-african freedom fighter. He had a vision for Africans to break out of western control and manipulation. Something the whites couldn't handle and they organized his assassination.

In my humble opinion, any African leader who dies at an old age has probably done deals with white people to continue to exploit and enslave his own people. Sankara, Lumumba, Malcolm X, all died in their 30s,even jesus died at 33.
The only exception to this is Mandela, and we all know that he allowed the whites to keep their stolen resources and blacks trapped in poverty.

Nelson Mandela who was hitherto labelled a 'terrorist' was repackaged by the western media after he left the whites in control of the economy leaving the blacks impoverished.

4. Nelson Mandela, South Africa

He was the first black President of South Africa and the most celebrated African leader of modern history.
Mandela led the anti-apartheid movement for over 50 years, and was successful in ending the decades of racial discrimination against the black natives by the white minority.
During his presidency, Mandela focused on reconciliation and ensured all was done to avoid a repeat of apartheid i.e the blacks maltreating the whites, and unification of the country.
Mandela died in 2013 aged 95.

Dont put Nelson Mandela in the list, Gaddafi can be rated above him. He was turned into an icon by the whites who hated him earlier, when he they realized he was not going to put the economy of SA in the hands of the blacks.
Our eyes have been opened now.

Great man but he later sold out,the Mandela that fought before and during his prison terms is different from the Mandela(Madiba) that became the president,he went on to become a staged managed Mandela.who sold out on their Freedom Charter (F.C)Agreement

Most of u fools come here out of ignorance and speak as if you knew what the balance of forces were in SA in 1989 to 1994. The fact that SA came out of apartheid intact without a civil war and total destruction of its apartheid built infrastructure was the biggest gift Mandela could give SA. At that very Freedom Charter gave us today the best liberal Constitution on this continent, we in SA enjoy far better constitutional rights today because of Mandela.

Tell me do you even know what's in the Freedom Charter, as a South African to a Nigerian I suggest you shut da hell up and focus on getting back the loot all your former dictators stole from Nigeria including your useless Buhari.

After 60years plus of Nigerian freedom its still a shitthole that's why you lot are being soled in Libya today or standing in lines for Mandela's Visas.

You need to educate yourself before coming here to spew your ignorance on politics and economics in South Africa. Its because of fools like you africa is in the state it is today.

SA learned from the rest of africa and chose a different path, today yes there are issues of land reform with regards to blacks ownership but we have come a long way compared to other SSA states and I n terms of overall development SA is miles ahead of any African state today.

What you need to do is manage your perception because its far from reality.
