oshe111:If corruption will always be the bedrock of life, >if sixteen years funding on fixing of airport and non its can be compared to Benin airport, >if all countries selling crude increase the external reserved by 200% and your country can't boast of 2% increases in it reserved, >to eat feed today we became the highest importer of rice so you can eat with both hands now >All road in Nigeria are fixed in sixteen years but got damage in one year because the road was use by train >When you shout gej is your because we make $458b from oil sales in 4 years and have $22b in reserves >after spending $43b on power generation we only able to generate additional 500mw in sixteen years, >honest party as they remove Nigeria from poverty to prosperity by given us economy statistics every month >if in sixteen years the only rail line done is 80% construction of Abuja to Kaduna with > in sixteen years Nigeria was not able to build even backyard refinery > if you still shout pdp and you still can point out to one outstanding project in your community >if you shout pdp you not a millionaire in sixteen years of pdp and all pdp chieftain children and domestic staff are millionaire without any sources of business >if you shout pdp is south east party and the the decision maker are northern even under gej >if you shout pdp and the whole of Nigeria has less than 5000 tractors >if you shout pdp convention is the best when your state money as been use to fund and bribe people, >you are mumu now if you think Atiku is the man because you hate buhari they are both from the north,Fulani, and Muslim >Any way you want it north will be there till 2023 so you are a Fulani slave for 8years and if Atiku win that make you slave for 12years and pdp loss in 2023 that means you will slave for 16years |

EASY39:Which plus? A Court has already nullified the said election. Meaning whenever there will be a re-run, he will be the PDP candidate. The judgement is interpretation is that. Read full story before commenting. |

globemoney:My brother, these are two different cases. This one is a pre election matter and therefore supercedes and is independent of the other. |

Chikeluba25:Posting irrelevant materials here won't change the court's verdict. The election was nullified under the notion that Ekwunife was not the validly elected candidate of the PDP. Now that Okonkwo has been established as the authentic candidate of the party, he will take up his mandate. Remember Chibuike Amaechi vs INEC? |

jamesibor:It doesn't supercede the other. It only state who will be the candidate of the PDP. Which is still open to appeal. A superior court has already ordered a rerun. The judgment of a lower court cannot have priority over that of a superior court. This is law basics. |
| Re: Court Orders Saraki To Swear-in Okonkwo As Senator For Anambra Central by agabusta: 8:43am On Dec 14, 2017 |
jamesibor:And you don't know that an election nullified by a court order remains nullified, unless overturned by a superior court. The election has already been nullified by a standing superior court order as of now. The order is still in effect and very much alive. This judgment of a lower court, which is still open to appeal is inconsequential to that nullification. |

agabusta: globemoney:Pre-election court cases take precedence over post election matters, that's already settled law in Nigeria. Another kick in Umeh's teeth, all defendants, even Ekwunife and INEC,withdrew their counter-affidavits,paving way for the final judgement. From this point on,it's only a matter of tying up loose ends.Okonkwo is the Senator-elect for the Central zone now |
| Re: Court Orders Saraki To Swear-in Okonkwo As Senator For Anambra Central by globemoney: 10:34am On Dec 14, 2017 |
jamesibor: Dhugal:why are you people trying to twist the law. The court of appeal is the final bus stop for National Assembly matters and it has already nullified the said election. The FHC settling a pre election matter doesnt not resurrect an election that already been nullified. The said obiora should count his loss with PDP and Ekwunife. The election will go as planned. The judgement is just a mere academic exercise. |
| Re: Court Orders Saraki To Swear-in Okonkwo As Senator For Anambra Central by globemoney: 10:38am On Dec 14, 2017 |
jamesibor:Rotimi Amaechi vs INEC is a pre election matter and the said election was not nullified. It was only a party affair just like this case. This judgement would have only mattered if Ekwunife was still a senator, it has nothing to do with Victor Umeh, Apga or any other party that contested the election. Its a waste of time and money |
