An outrage has been sparked online after some Igbo leaders paid homage to the leader of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and Aare Ona Kakanfo designate, Gani Adams at his residence recently in Lagos.

The Igbo leaders who have been identified as; Eze Ndigbo of Ikeja, Mr Uche Dimgba; the Eze Ndigbo of Gbogbo, Mr Livinus Chimezie; Eze of Coker/Aguda, Mr Jude Ezego; Eze of Ojodu, Mr Augustine Ebisi; Eze Peter Umeh of Mushin, Odiolowo, Iganmu land, Ejigbo, Agbado Oke odo and the Eze of Iba among others - visited Gani Adams as they pledged to work with him.

Now some online users have reacted to this development as they labelled the visit a "shame and disgrace" to the Igbos because the visit has no purpose. See different reactions below;

Gani Adams has honour than Tinubu and nothing wrong in that visitation. This Gani Adams has risked his life defending Afonjas from the Hausas/Fulanis but Tinubu has looted Afonjas blind that their stupidity will not let them notice that Tinubu is a thief. FFK knows who Tinubu is.

Don't misunderstand the bloggers..

Their anger is that the Yorubas and the Northerners supports their own,,,but the so called ezes and ohaneze do not support their own.

Remember Ganiu Adams as an ex convict but he is supported and crowned by his people.

The northerners even said that fighting Boko boys is fighting the north. They even threatened to take the chief of army who was an Igbo to the world court at the Hague.

So you can appreciate the hopeless situation...

The man who said all is fair in war....A coward whose soldiers couldn't face his opposite soldiers despite huge military supplies by their colonial masters...Those are the eternal haters...This was a man imprisoned by the same government, who released...and he took sides with them, so just that he could give his people what they lacked in the civil service and multi-nationals...These are evil people...That's why Nigeria is still cursed..it knows no peace...It continues to sink despite the huge money it makes and its human capital..
