Pls this is not for the sake of tribalism and should not be hijacked by tribalists.

We know Atiku is from Jada LGA in Adamawa state. This LGA is actually owned/mostly populated by Chamba people, although with some fulanis settlers as usual.
I have never seen Atiku identify himself as fulani or any other tribe (which is good though cos he's obviously not a tribalist).

Anybody from Adamawa or Taraba to actually confirm this?

I guess he is chamba but for political reasons he will claim fulani. Truth is the man is always silent on his true roots but from his looks, he doesnt have fulani blood

That he is accepted by the fulani rulers and the minorities in Adamawa shows he is good at ethnic balancing. Remember he stood solidly behind Boni Haruna (a minority and a Christian) for governor of Adamawa for two terms. For 95% of political power brokers in Adamawa, that would be unthinkable for them to do.

I give it to Atiku, he is not a religious or tribal bigot. He also knows how to spot talent.

But is that enough for 2019? Is that enough to #Atikulate?

for your information, some people who are involved in whipping up tribal sentiment or clash between the Igbos and the yorubas on this forum belong to neither of the two ethnic groups. They deceitfully adopt the identity of either Yoruba or Igbo because this is a faceless forum. They are just agents of destruction and divisions. They do not want the peoples from the southern region of the country to be united hence any attempt at fostering unity is always scuttled by these evil ones because they benefit from the political strategy of divide and rule.
