Had the same issue, well I twitted, called BC Abuja, and UK, forwarded my conversation with their Abuja customer service to the ( which wasn't helpful,) UK finally they printed a new one, however on the day I was to go pick it up, UPS called to come pick the old one. Disturb them oo, except u are not in a hurry

I noticed that CIC has been inviting 1250 people in each of the recent draws. Is that now the standard or will they increase the no of people they invite for subsequent draws in the new year?

One cannot really predict anything until they do the first draw for year 2018 in January. By the way, it is 2750 people and not 1250 people.

Good day dear e-family,

I was sent a mail to upload some extra supporting documents to my CIC account with just a one week grace period. Unfortunately I was able to provide all other documents except for one (my tax clearance certificate) by the given deadline.


I attached a letter of explanation that it would be made available to me by my employer some days after the given deadline.
The problem now is there is no more provision to upload any other documents after I put up the others by the given deadline.

Please guys, what do you advice is the way forward in my situation as I wouldn't want to take any chances?

I rushed hurriedly to British Council but was assured no need to worry. They would start sending from tomorrow, more so it re-opens Jan 2nd. I initially called their num no luck, sent mail which failed too. All the best to us all. Congratulations to those who got their ITA! Ours is on the way!
