Enugu State indigenes from Abuja, Markudi, Jalingo, Kaduna, others arrive Enugu safely as the Managing Director of the Enugu State Transport Company Limited, Bob Itanyi and other top government functionaries receive them formally. The returnees, who described the journey as smooth, praised Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his kind gesture, milk of human kindness and commitment to the well-being of the people of the state, which they said made it possible for them to return home to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones. Returnees from other states, according to the MD of ENTRACO, are on their way and will be officially received as soon as they arrive. Truly, Enugu State is in the hands of God!

I really appreciated this kind gesture especially in this fuel scarcity, but I urge the beneficiaries not to rush to enter free Transport. Plan for your going back in January, there was no provision for that.

He must have known of this fuel scarcity ahead of time but How did they know all the Enugu indigenes amongst all passengers? Were they labelled?

So nice of him though. Let me see any of them passengers dare to deny having a taste of the national cake in future....

Why can't imo have good governors like Enugu??! Enugu is far ahead of us now

That's a good one from him. I'm sure he may be regretting such promise considering the increase in cost of fares recently.

It still makes sense for anyone from other Igbo state coming from a place as Kano or Lagos to stop in Enugu and then take another transport to complete the short journey.
