ernieboy:You are missing something. In America nobody buys a new car with cash, they make a payment plan for them where they make payment of $500 monthly for six years before they can claim full ownership of th vehicle. While in Nigeria we pay cash, those tokunbo flooded vehicles were all bought with millions. This is something 90% of Americans are incapable of. When you factor in cost of shipping, buying, clearing and profits added by the car dealer you will find out Nigeria are paying more to own a car than Americans. Most brand new cars here cost between 15million-25million naira so 10,000 is a huge number when you consider most were bought with cash |

timesup234:whether u pay it cash or over time, bottom line is the manufacturers gets their full money plus profits eventually, otherwise they won't be able to stay in business fyi the credit system can only work in a stables financial system so stop presenting our cash and carry system as if it is the best, it is actually a product if our poor financial system |

ernieboy:Even Americans wish they can pay in cash but the money is not there and for your info it is actually slavery since a sizable amount of them will default on the payment and eventually get the car repossessed. Not even counting the fact that they are paying more with interest on the loan. Sorry dude, luxury debt is slavery |

Lamide123:Yes you can survive on that if you live within your means. If you are left with 1450 a month after all deductions and you can't survive on that then you are not financially responsible. |

eldee365:Does it matter? You sound like abroad is some sort of heaven, there are more people suffering in America than Nigeria. Stop being a slave, people living in other countries will always see you as a slave, you will never fit in no matter how many asslickking you do. Traveling abroad is not success it is self enslavement |

timesup234:Dude I think you're trying so hard to deceive yourself. All my immigrant friends I know, own cars. NOT ON CREDIT. As a Nigerian when you get there, you live within your means till you can afford a car, and guess what? they still get the cars at the end of the day. Most Nigerians find it difficult to use the car loan system. Finally, there is no educated Nigerian I know who did some courses over there with a job( not menial jobs) that cannot afford a car. STOP deceiving yourself. 60k monthly cannot even buy you a 1999 Camry in Nigeria. |

MRSHYCAT:More than 2,500 were from Afghanistan, a terrorist haven, the president complained. Haiti had sent 15,000 people. They “all have AIDS,” he grumbled, according to one person who attended the meeting and another person who was briefed about it by a different person who was there. Once they had seen the United States, they would never “go back to their huts” in Africa, recalled the two officials, who asked for anonymity to discuss a sensitive conversation in the Oval Office. |

eldee365:Have you been reading his confused post on this thread and from other threads he's started? If so then you wouldn't have subjected yourself so low to his frustrated and delusional thoughts by quoting him or even responding to him. There is a saying that when a sane person is arguing back and forth with a mad person after a while people wont know the difference between who the mad person is and who the sane person is. The conclusion people will give is that the mad person and the sane person are both mad and needs urgent psychiatric help. |
