I agree with you in totality. But, however, I know there is a lot of rice production going on in Abejukolo, Idah, Ankpa, etc. In short, all the Igala LGAs in Kogi State have rice as one of their foremost staples and cultivated crops. They call it OSKAPA, the Igalas are not really into tubers, but are very prolific in the production of grain cereals, of which, rice is among the foremost, followed by maize and then sorghum, etc...

I know this because I have been around that area for some time. In short, in Abejukolo, they measure a man's or family wealth by the size of their rice farm. I am however disappointed that Kogi had to wait so much for all these so called agricultural revolution to be going on before coming forth with their rice...

So Nigerian states can now produce rice at large quantities.

We know our problems but corruption, blame game and laziness won't let us solve them.

The road is rough, the situation is tough, the dark tunnel is long. Everyone including myself is complaining. But one step at a time, we shall succeed. If the last administration had grown rice, this administration would have been working on something else. A people that cannot feed itself cannot survive.

I tell you. Doubt me not. That rice was repackaged. It was done at night. Ha. God will surely judge this government. I was there the night this rice was being repackaged. I was in Lokoja that night to see a friend and that warehouse shares the same fence with my friend's house
