A MUST-READ FOR ALL OAU ASPIRING STUDENTS AT ALL LEVELS (PREDEGREE APPLICANTS, UTME APPLICANTS, DE APPLICANTS, AND POSTGRADUATE APPLICANTS)
Excerpts: Year in year out, jambites who choose OAU in their matriculation application—after doing “well”—in their UTME just come to OAU to write the Post-UTME thinking gaining admission to OAU will never be any difficult than cooking noodles; but at the end of it all, most of them always get disappointed. I’m—on this note—making this article to make some things clear on the things OAU applicants must know if they’ll be admitted. I enjoin you to read this article and digest it if you are processing your admission to OAU or you’re aspiring to be in OAU someday...(open link to continue reading http://wuyisblog..com.ng/2017/10/oau-admission-rush.html)

Excerpts: Talking of blasting OAU Post-UTME, you know, it sounds funny to me that almost everyone of the candidates are always thinking they are capable of blasting OAU Post-UTME like it’s not even an exam—courtesy all the past questions on OAU Post-UTME they have tackled and trashed. They all think OAU Post-UTME exam is the simplest in the world, because all the questions asked are questions that are very easy to relate to. Even the tutors too, and the past questions, they are always making their students and readers (respectively) feel too confident over “blasting” the Post-UTME. But in the end, after the results are released, the news is always the same: “oh, there is mass failure"... Abeg... Has the Admission Processing begun?
Re: OAU 2017/2018 Admission Thread by wuyisblog: 1:19pm On Oct 09, 2017
Excerpts: Yes, it’s really a good thing that from the point of checking your Post-UTME result, you already know whether you’ll be admitted or not. I mean, we never got this chance in those days; we just always wait, pray and hope that we get admitted. In fact in our time, not many people knew about the JAMB change of institution and course form; that time, if you refused to score very high in the UME, you just go home and start preparing for another UME coming the following year (if you’d still have the interest and resources needed to write it again); but now, things have changed so much. This year alone, my greatest revenue as an educational consultant came from changing institution and courses for people. It’s like almost everyone who wrote the UTME this year changed institution or courses at least once. Little wonder JAMB refuses to close the access to the data correction process; it must be so much funds are still coming in from that. Change of course/institution form used to last for just one or two weeks then, but now, things have changed so much, so much that even the OAU Post-UTME screening results tell of this change... Re: OAU 2017/2018 Admission Thread by wuyisblog: 11:56pm On Oct 12, 2017
Excerpts: "...if OAU had a permanent cutoffs they use every year, and then almost all the candidates perform excellently above the cutoffs in the screening, would OAU be capable of giving almost all the applicants admission? And on the other side, if almost all the candidates fail in the screening, would that mean just fewer-than-normal amount of the candidates will be admitted? This is why OAU doesn’t have permanent cutoffs. So if anyone posts any cutoff from 2 years ago, learn how to not even use it to judge what the cutoff for this year would be—you would be disappointed, or surprised when the real cutoffs are released..."
