What can beat facing the crowd as a soprano vocalist, in a dim dark complex endowed with blinking Christmas light and candles? What can beat singing SILENT NIGHT in such a divine atmosphere, letting out my solemn heavenly voice as eyes let out tears? What can beat the vibrating timber that follows every sound in a harmonic state of oneness and peace? Believe me, I feel like a cherubim whenever such a moment present itself.. I love Christmas Carol..  It highs me into a dimension, a dimension that even weed cannot attain. |

I was living with my Aunty. Others go for the carol while I stay back to fry the meat, fry chinchin and cook peppersoup for them to enjoy when they come back from the carol service. I do not taste the peppersoup most times because of the olojukokoro neighbours who would bring their own guests to our house to be entertained. Thank God I am married and free now. |

I was at The International School of The Hague doing my 3rd phase. Mr. De Villiers used to make us sing " terwijl herders keken hun kudden"......while sherpards watched their flocks...... The funny part was my family didn't and still doesnt believe in Christmas.. I sang along anyway. Good memories. |
