He had his arms out. A good defender should have quickly sent it behind.

Cech has not saved a penalty for Arsenal. If it is deliberate is what I can't tell.

Absolutely absurd that you are making this comment. Chambers was really close to Gibbs, you don't keep your hands behind to mark a player in that situation. Moreover, the ball was up in the air and Gibbs did not have grass control of the ball. The call was totally ridiculous and everyone agrees.

Sometimes Ozil is the one who gets to go deeper to initiate attacks. That job is being done by Wilshere recently. That makes neither of them DM. In fact, like you rightly mentioned, Wenger does not actually play a DM or Holding midfielder. He plays a double pivot as he did with Vieira and Petit.

Absolutely correct. Apologies, didn't see it that way. Just felt Chambers was a bit careless not hiding his arms. Bad decision nevertheless.
