I see a lot of Knight fans in the house, but the value of your chess pieces are in relation to the stage of the game you're in. In the middle game after the opening the knights are very important because of their "invisibility cloak " but during the end game their value drops drastically and the bishops will be way more important to any player. This will help when making exchanges in any game as you will be aware of the value of your piece in relation to the stage of the game e.g. exchanging or losing Knights before the middle won't be a smart move, same as the bishops before the end game. 1 Like |
