President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday ordered security agencies to do “everything possible” to arrest those behind the killings of residents of Benue State.

Buhari gave the order while commiserating with the State Governor, Samuel Ortom “over the reported killings, injury of several persons and wanton destruction of property in Guma and Logo Local Government Areas of the state in the New Year.”

The president’s order was contained in a statement signed and sent to DALY POST by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

While expressing immense sadness at the “wicked and callous” attacks on “even innocent children,” the President assured the governor and people of the state that, “relevant security agencies have been directed to do everything possible to arrest those behind the regrettable incidents and avert further attacks.”

“This is one attack too many, and everything must be done to provide security for the people in our rural communities,” the statement quoted Buhari as saying.

Recall that the State Governor, Samuel Ortom had confirmed that at least 20 people were killed after suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked communities in Guma and Logo local government areas of the state between Monday and Tuesday, last week.

I didn't see anywhere where he stated what is being done apart from giving fake orders to security agencies

until Nigerians realise that these Fulani terrorists has a tactical backing from northern Fulani leaders, spearheaded by buhari, nothing can be done. all men, women, children in Nigeria have to defend themselves against these evil jihadist.

Exactly,these steps are very easy to take especially when Fulani herdsmen have shown the needed qualities of being labelled terrorist.

Buhari is the the Grand Patron of Miyetti Allah and Fulani herdsmen never strike without explicit permission granted by Miyetto Allah ..The truth is if Buhari is serious he can get Miyetti Allah to provide the names of the its fighters that attacked Benue recently .

These killings have been repeated and according to a recent stats, thousands of people have lost their lives to this recurring fulani Herdsmen? Where have the security agencies been all along?, the president needs to go beyond his usual rhetorics and find a lasting solution to the crisis, He should convince his kinsmen to opt for ranches and stop this 10,000B.C way of raising livestock.
