In the last presidential election, Bayelsa their sole state could not produce up to 500, 000 votes, they are less than 5, 000 ijaws in Edo which can be visibly proved during the September 28th gubernatorial election, they are less than 50, 000 in Ondo States while in Delta State the Urhobos are about 1.5million in population as the most populated tribe in Delta it therefore means the Ijaw are less than 1million, then in River State predominately dominated by Ikwerres I put it to you that they are not up to 100, 000 Ijaws living there, with all this analysis the Ijaw population in Nigeria is between 1-1.5million, propaganda cannot get you people anywhere but facts

You might hardly find Ijaws on here because they are barely educated. This isn't an insult but a fact.

The Ijaws are the only set of individuals with no documented history in Nigeria and are only out to rewrite the history of virtually every other tribe .... binis, illajes, itsekiris, yorubas, Ibos, urhobos, Fulanis & what have you.

These set of individuals are so myopic that they think we are still in the dark ages. They are the main cause of underdevelopment in the Niger Delta albeit investors shy away from the oil rich region. To further make Nigerians familiarise themselves with their stupidity, their stupid son from bayelsa, out of sheer luck, went to occupy the no 1 seat of the country and instead of bringing the goodies to the very poor and despised Niger deltans in his own capacity went ahead to shower goons & fools with the wealth of the nation. It's laughable that even yenagoa has no cinema & virtually no relaxation centre... So myopic.

When u think their craziness has seen it's all time high, u begin to wonder as soon as you see another charade of iintelligence. A most interesting part is their refusal to allow the export processing zone project(suppose to be largest in west africa) takeoff because they claim the supposed site was theirs instead of Itsekiri. What about the maritime university at okerenghigho(ijaw changed the Itsekiri land to theirs and named it okerenkoko) ? The land is recognized by our Constitution as okerenghigho but the Federal government are afraid of these half baked raging ijaws. It is even funny that no one is saying anything about okerenghigho abd buhari is going ahead to commission the project because itsekiris are not threatening hell and brimstone. It's even funnier that royalties accruing from okerenghigho(forcely named okerenkoko) are paid to itsekiris because they recognize them as owners.

In truth, the subject of who really owns warri is long but I must tell you that when you talk about the warri province, u can never remove the itsekiris- the great NANA, Dore Numa and others yet, no ijaw man can even be recognized. Can you compare the itsekiri kingdom created since 1430s to gbaramatu of 1990s ? Lol...

My humble advice to the Ijaws is that they do everything within their powers to shun all evil vices and force their children to study hard for the future because soon, guns won't save. It will be battle only school can get u. It can take 100years but each day, the itsekiris are preparing all documents and going to school and patiently waiting till then.

In this lengthy write up, the only point one can make out of it is your ignorance about the ijaw race. How can you say the Ijaws in Edo state are not more than 5,000? You need to visit the creeks of the Noger Delta to get your real figures, not sit behind your smart phone and type whatever you feel.

You're terribly misguided. There are laws within China such as the great firewall that isolates them from the rest of the world. However, that's a terrible analogy in the sense that China is millions of metres away. Ijaw LGA is just N100 transport from my house. I understand dispersion more than you do. Facts don't lie, we have seen a lot of Hausas, Ibos, Yorubas around the country that hardly there's any Nigerian who hasn't. Why is it only peculiar to the Ijaws who claim to be the 4th that they are invisible in the North and West and slightly visible in the East? Your argument holds no water, if you insist to argue please be objective.

Oga, I don't have time to argue. You understand dispersion more than me but you are using Central tendency (I.e 0.1 population mean) to measure population dispersion. We use population density, scatter diagram et al to measure demographic dispersion.

Igbos have the largest spread in the country but are not the largest population.
