The CAF awards will take place today in Accra, Ghana. It is the first to be sponsored by oil and gas giant, Aiteo. Two Nigerians have been nominated; Asisat Oshoala and Gernot Rohr.

The highlight of the awards is usually the presentation of the African player of the year(male). This year, there are three major contenders; Sadio Mane of Senegal, Emerrick Aubameyang of Gabon, and Mohamed Salah of Egypt.

Mane is a 25 year-old who plays as a forward/winger for Liverpool football club in the English Premier league. Since joining Liverpool in 2016, he has scored a total of 38 goals in 105 appearances.

Aubameyang is a 28 year-old French-born Gabonese footballer, who plays for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga. Aubameyang was the 2016/2017 season Bundesliga’s highest goal scorer with 31 goal. In the 2017/2018 season, he has already scored 22 goals in 27 appearances for Dortmund.

Salah is a 25-year-old Egyptian footballer who plays as a winger/forward for Liverpool. Before joining Liverpool, her had played for Chelsea, Fiorentina and Roma. Salah has been terrific this season, scoring several goals. he is currently the second highest goal scorer, behind Harry Kane of Tottenham.

See below and confirm if either Salah or Mane comes close
1. PEA scored 31 goals last season in 34 bundesliga games.
2. He was the highest goal scorer in the bundesliga, outscoring Lewandowski
3. Last season, he won the DFB pokal
4. Last he broke the record held by Anthony Yeboua, by becoming the highest scoring African in the bundesliga.
5. He joined BVB in 2013 and has scored over 90 goals to date
6. He scored many goals in the UCL and assisted as well, including 3 goals against Real Madrid
7. He has lots of assist as a player

Tell me the achievements or records broken by Salah or Mane, order than playing in the overhyped EPL
Let's see if England will go as far as Germany in the WC.

I think Mikel Obi should win it. Lukaku did well but fail to Coach the super eagle very well. He is a bad coach. Yakubu should have been the referre in the game but it's well, they always cheat us when it comes to tennis. Go eagle, win the UEFA Champions League and make us proud..
