We trashed this issue on the auto section . To set ur mind at ease . The Range Rover velar 's gear box is made in Germany even though the car is assembled and manufactured in the UK

We are that tribalistic to accommodate your ilk in my impeccable SW.

You need to check the meaning of tribalism again, do some soul searching & know that you guys are the embodiment of tribalism.

Nonsense! cool

Who is this thing spewing nonsense?

In your tribe, women can't inherit property.
In your tribe, you have the Osu caste system.
In your tribe, you discriminate against the Mbaise people.

This same Mbaise people fought the Pope cos he refused to be tribalistic by appointing an Mbaise man as Archbishop of Ahiara.
Igbos in Ipob fought with Jesus Christ. They said since Jesus Christ is the Lord of all those marginalising and persecuting them, they'll boycott Jesus and start praying directly to Chukwu Okike Abiama (the God of all Creation).

Is just an assembly plant, Nigeria is not ripe to the stages of manufacturing cars.. All what he does is to send specifications to China. These automobiles price would continue to be unaffordable for the poor as long that exchange rate is high. Everything stil boils on forex, hence one of the reasons why Innosons vehicles are very expensive.

Good one, hope to see more in this direction
Newshelm:
The Nigerian Army, on Tuesday, formally entered into partnership with Nigerian indigenous motor manufacturing company, Innoson Motors Manufacturing Company for modification of some of its equipment, local production of armoured fighting vehicles and other military hardware.

Here are some of the amazing vehicles made for the Nigerian Army.

This is a really good one for them which I must commend. However I feel it is necessary to say this. Innoson as a brand should seek to promote their brand to more Nigerians rather than just relying on contracts from the government. Innoson is not a well know brand yet and have not given many Nigerians any reason to want to drive an Innoson car. They should try to make their brand appeal more to the average Nigerian.
Why do I make this point? We all know of how the Nigerian political terrain can be very unstable and unpredictable. When a new govt. comes into power the old things more often than not pass away. There is the possibility of a new govt. Coming into power and changing what is already on ground as regards the contract with Innoson. So what happens then.
I think they should embark on a massive advertisement campaign and also sign deals with financiers that can make owning their cars affordable to regular salary earners in Nigeria. Also giving celebrities some of their cars to increase their brand awareness could be exploited. A lot can be done. I do not see enough privately owned Innoson cars hence this opinion of mine.

Meanwhile some of you foolishly closed your account with GTB. The NIGERIAN Army will buy this vehicles and issue Innoson a GTB Cheque and Innoson will not reject the Cheque. How does that make you feel?

I get your joke but jokes aside. Innoson needs to tap brains like the creator of this local car.. make his dreams come through. Expand his talent.
