Not sure bt there ws some study that proved women were happier single than married nd men happier in marriage than as singles. could this be the reason many men shame women into marriage coz they feel women would be better of in matrimony like them. On d flip side, why would women become less happy in matrimony? Might be that they carry the largest burden in a family and they are blamed for everything that goes wrong.
