Help, Glo Wan Finish Me by atiku2019manager: 12:37pm On Jan 09, 2018
everyday glo silently deduct moneys from my account some of them with no SMS or notice. the N50 own is what is annoying me.

after many months i have manage to unsubscribe the rest of them, joke etc. but the secrete and hidden one is something i cant solved. called call care but their customer service does not have a clue they told me it's value added service. they don't know the technicality to solve it for me. many times some will tell me that they have forward my complaint and will be resolve about 6 hours. other will give me a code to send stop.

but funny enough this codes does not work.

this hidden and secrete monster is my headache and reason i stop recharging the line. except i want to do data. once i recharge, only if you can see the speed i normally use to activate the data before they deduct my credit.

i just called customer care, the code the lady gave me does not work.

help if you have solution

Trust me i've been there.

The only solution to this is going through twitter, search for glo twitter handle (@gloworld i guess) and tweet at them by making your complaints known to them, your issue will be resolved asap as they will not want their image tarnished. Ccare will do nothing to help.

I don dey complain since 2015 angry angry
I have to lend my voice to this issue. For the past six months, Glo has fraudulently deducted my credit. This started towards the ending of the month June 2015. 100 naira was deducted from my account. I called their customer care to report the incident. I was told i subscribed for one of their sms packaged which I didn't (why should i do such when i Have the internet at my disposal?) I asked how that possible when i didn't send an sms to request for the package, their reply was i probably answered one of the automated calls or someone didn't it on my behalf (crazy response). I was told the issue has been forwarded to their "so called engineers" and it will be resolved in 48hrs.I received an sms to that effect that the issue has been resolved. To avoid repetition of the incident, i stopped answering automated calls. although the sms stopped coming my credit was still deducted usually toward the end of the month and this continued till september when i decided not to reload my credit account. sometime in october I decided to reload my credit account and this time I ensured the credit left was always below 100 naira. This worked for the month october and november. Early december, I loaded my account because i intended to send christmas messages to friends, collegues and family, They deducted 100 naira the same day I loaded the account. Calling customer care again, i was told they can't tell me the exact service i subscribed for because their are carrying out system upgrade. After all the hot tempered words were released from me, the customer care officer told me she will forward the issue to their engineers. The same day, I received a message that the issue has been resolved. This repeated itself around christmas and the same shouts and assurance from the customer care official ensued. Just this week, I continued with my routine of ensuring the credit is below 100 naira, only for glo to deduct 50 naira out of the balance left. Same talk of they can't tell me what services i subscribed for because of system upgrade that the issue has been forwarded to the engineers for solution.

1.Now my issue is why should a telecom provider deduct credit for services that were not requested for i.e forcing it on the subscribers

2. I don't know what the so called engineers are doing in that place because i believe if an issue should be resolved, it should be resolved once and for all.

I know some people will say its just 100 naira but think of how many subcribers maybe running into millions that have similar experiences.

This is my first time i am calling on you Lalasticlala. please push this thing to front page. i believe there are alot of people out there experiencing this issue and this platform been the biggest in africa will make globacom telecommunications sit up.

If nothing works, Just go and retrieve the line back
Re: Help, Glo Wan Finish Me by EarthXmetahuman: 10:55pm On Jan 09, 2018
That's the most annoying thing about glo apart from their shitty network. Even new lines are not excluded from their madness.

I have decided to stop loading my line. Everytime I want to subscribe, I just do it directly from quickteller. If I mistakenly load anything on my line now, I'm sure they will steal everything.
Re: Help, Glo Wan Finish Me by ybalogs(m): 11:23pm On Jan 09, 2018
Glo has decided to be unfortunate with the way this is going. I only recharge glo now once I feel it's getting too long and wouldn't want to be blocked. Still if I load 500, I never use up to 200 cos I will just find out my remaining balance is 350 then after calls of lesd than 2 to 3 minutes, that's all.
I've decided never to load on my glo again cos surprisingly calling glo with my MTN line is relatively cheaper than calling Glo to Glo. I would have totally ditched them but for the fact that it's my very first line. As for me, I've decided to load 100 naira once every 3 months except there's some form of awoof.

lol. glo is looking for money badly to acquire 9mobile. hence the intense criminal activity.

I have been suffering same issue throughout 2017, I called customer service and they apologized. After one week, it started again. Now I don't recharge my go, instead am using mtn to make calls while my glo is basically for receiving calls. They are thief. I lost 450 within 5 days without subscribing to anything.
