A Nigerian police woman is feeling sad following a disagreement at her place of work with the divisional police officer DPO. According to her, she would have regretted being a police officer had it been she didn't have passion for the job since she was 10 years old as she said the intimidation in the force is too much. The woman also hinted on the problem as she claimed the DPO listened to a civilian without hearing her own part concerning an issue. After sharing her lament on Facebook, fellow officers and others tried to encourage her. The main thing that I observe from this policewoman's comments is the derogatory manner she refers to a civilian as if being "civilian" is some sort of disease. Or like because the person is civillian this somehow places him/her below the policewoman. The superiority (inferiority?) Complex a lot of uniformed personnel have is very annoying. Clown 22 Likes |
