You know the Brits knew what they were doing when then gave the rulership of the country to the docile tribes....up in North, the Brits had a walkover ,they were easily colonised and indirect rule was in place....down in South West, the Brits were begged to come and colonise the Anangos ( present day Yoruba tribes) due to inter tribal wars. The Yoruba were tired of the inter tribal wars and the Dahomey , Jihadist and other invasion such as Benin , when the Brits came, it was a respite and the west ,just like the northern cousins accepted the Brits with pomp and pageantry. A time the kosoko reigned.

Amongst the southern Nigeria tribes, it was the Igbo, Benin tribes that gave the Brits a run for their money. The resistance was so much that the oba of Benin was exiled after years of war.

As of the Igbo, the fought the British from different fronts from the western flank and the Eastern flank, the British negotiated, renegotiated with different kinsmen due to the Republican nature and also reached a truce in some areas. Things Fall Apart , a popular book written by Chinua Achebe explained these anti colonial leaning of Igbo ,but we can't find such in either western Nigeria or Northern Nigeria.

This has made me to understand that Igbo are one hell of a people that you cannot use force to dominate, they would either want to engage you nicely or badly...Ibo landing , a story in USA demonstrates this fact and Olaudah Equiano (Ekwuano) demonstrates this also.

The Igbo had many wars,amongst them are ;

Igbos were the only people that gave Britain the
longest and severest resistance in Africa...
Read Ekumeku war
Read Anglo-Aro war...
Aba women war
Read War at Afikpo..
What have u, with kings Achieved differently?

The crstalizing truth that Igbo's are a people of their own remains.
No matter the name calling ,intimidation and forced submission we shall one day be on our own.
Enough time have been given to see if the forced marriage can work, but it is evidently clear that divorce is inevitable.

Proudly igbo

Correct me if I'm wrong, which tribe has helped each other more than the Igbos in Nigeria?

Love for money... Okay, let's discuss it.
1. The 10 highest looters - Has no Igbo man.
2. The three most notorious armed robbers - No Igbo man

What's your definition of any length?

Brother, please stop lying just to be politically correct, mention Eastern politicians who shortchanged the masses.Federal roads are bad, not state roads.

Secondly, Federal projects are done directly by Federal not governors.

In 2017 this is what we got, compared to others.

North Central N209 Billion
North West. N73.7 Billion.
South West. N48.97 Billion.
North East. N46.69 Billion.
South South. N35.31 Billion.
South East. N28.22 Billion.

How do you expect better federal roads compared to other regions?

Question : Tell me one federal road in the East the Buhari has repaired?

Op can you tell me which of these you consider to be facts in light of the article
1)is it that you consider the igbos to be equal to other Nigerians and owing to their heroic efforts of resisting the British shows they are no push overs therefore deserve their full rights just like any other nigerian
2)do you feel others are somehow inferior to the igbo, because they could not resist the British as much as the igbos. if you think so pls state the major differences
other igbos apart from op should also share their views
