After registering with DAAD there is a part where you will click international student, from there it will take you to a page where you have several scholarships for different countries. Selecting nigeria will link you up with PTDF, you will then fill your personal details, a form will pop up for u to download. The issue I have is I can't open it on both my PC and phone. The instruction there says only PDF acrobat DC can open it.

Thank you for this info, but this was not stated on ptdf scholarship site as it was stated that they will facilitate all of that/admission;

As if one goes ahead to register and at some point ptdf checks and wants to start the process with the partners and sees you are already registered on DAAD,

Please help clarify

please kindly narrate all the steps to follow. is it starting from personal funding or what? please after you log in, where can i start? am a little bit confused here.

If there won't be an aptitude test, then I would advise everybody to take their SOPs very seriously and include anything that can support your application.
However I would further confirm and anything I get I'd share with you guys.

If you won't mind, I'm willing to help review the sops of the first 3 people to dm me for no fees. My own way of giving back to NL. I'll only respond to those 3 people, if I don't respond to you, it means you weren't among the first 3.

If I can take more later, I'll let everyone know. I'll also try convince other scholars to do same.

I was able to open the form on my laptop and it's asking a lot of information and details which one may not really know the answer to. And I'm skeptical if we should actually fill something like this and submit to them since we were told not to apply to any of this skools or anything. Try to open the application form to know what I'm talking about

thanks for your reply here. Well after i login to daad portal, i didn't see the link for the scholarship portal. Please i still need more clarification thanks.

After registration and verification, login to the website. click on personal funding, then search for Nigerian-German training programme. The first on the list is for masters while the next one is for PhD application. I'd advise you use a laptop to make it easier.…or change your browser to desktop view.

exactly. I think it's when we have qualified for the scholarship we will be asked to apply. I'm not going further with this application form.

Pls @Dmainman any update about sucesseful shortlisted LSS applicants for 2017/18

I have applied successfully.... Did you guys notice that there is no 'select test center' as applicable to last year? It is obvious that aptitude test may not hold. If it happens to be true, what do you you think will be our fate? Shortlisted candidates will go Straight to the interview or they are automatically selected for the award?

Pls I'm asking on what to write on the academic publication page. I'm a bit confused. I'm applying for Msc. Pls what can I do?

My dear, if you actually went through the DAAD website well, you should notice that this application was open since September last year and will close on Jan 31. I think even if one is applying for schools in Germany, one must apply on the DAAD website too.…don't really know.
