If NUC wants to give us a Comprehensive ranking they should go ahead using Institutional Accreditation score which comprises of everything from academic stability, conformity to carrying capacity, student-staff ratio, number of research publications etc and not just OER.

If the ranking was generalised, obviously, Unilag and UI would have taken the lead and it would have been very unfair to private owned schools but it was ranked based on generations and how each school has performed in that category. Edo university may not be better than UI but it has met the expectations of NUC as regards its generation.

I think that's the central idea of the ranking.
