Lady cried out yesterday after she mistakenly bought an Airtime of 15k instead of 1500 from MTN VTU, she posted the screenshot of Twitter, But Got disappointed after MTN Replied her saying they can't help her.

But finally after much pleading Ecobank refunded the money to her.. see below!

Same thing happened to me, have no choice than to start calling even people we went to primary school together

same thing happened to a friend when he mistakenly bought 40k worth of airtime instead of 4k and i know what he passed through before he got a refund


anyways thank God for her..............these silly mistakes should not continue in 2018

Really happy for her... Have worked in mtn customer service b4 ND trust mi we gt dis all d tym.. Truth is nobody want to do business nd make loss hence the option of no reversal.. If it wre to be dat ur card did not reflect trust mi in 48hrs ull GT d airtime bck coz Ts assumed ull still use it on d network.

Either Ecobank reversed the deduction or not, at least for giving her back the money, that was really kind and thoughtful of them. God bless Ecobank!

Firstbank doesn't allow me recharge more than 5k via the mobile app, so this will hardly happen to me

goods once bought cannot be returned, its on the receipt..
