pls what's the meaning of these terms CE,LE,VE, it's common among the camry and corrolla model

CE is manual I4 engine, LE is automatic I4 engine while XCE is the manual V6 engine and XLE an automatic with V6 engine. This is for Camry only maybe it is applicable to Corolla as well. Correct me if i am wrong.

The CE means basic or entry levl, It could be a manual transmission or automatic for camry; LE means Luxury Edition while VE means Value Edition for Corolla vehicles.

CE- Comfort Edition
VE- Value Edition
LE- Luxury Edition
S- Sporty

The model naming is common to Corollas with CE the lowest and S, thee highest grade.

I always thought LE meant Limited Edition.
I was even about dragging those confidently saying otherwise. But can't argue with Toyota since your post is from them.

Incorrect
VE- Value edition
CE- Classic edition
LE- Luxury edition
XLE- Executive Luxury Edition
SE- Sport Edition
XSE- Extreme Sport Edition
XR- Extreme Rally
XRS- Extreme Rally Sport
XLS- Executive Luxury Sport
SR- Sport Rally
SR5- Sport Rally 5 speed
SLE- Sport Luxury Edition

Also note: the acronyms are just for trims and do not in anyway tell what engine is in the car. There are V6 LE models and there are I4 XLE models. The CE however only comes in I4 for the Camry. But for cars like the sienna which only have one engine (1st gen), all trims come with the same 1mz fe 3.0l V6 engine
