HERDSMEN are said to attach more value to the lives of their cows than their own lives.

This was the position of Hon. Aishatu Jibril Dukku who represents Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency of Gombe State at the House of Representatives.

Dukku made the submission during plenary on Friday on the recent herdsmen herdsmen killing across the country.

She herdsmen value the lives of their animals more than that of themselves because God created them to be so.

“You can’t sit down and make conclusions on herdsmen. Yes, they values life of their cows more than even their own lives because that is how God has created them,” she hinted.

She then clamoured for a workable solution in favour of the herdsmen.

They value the live of cow more than their live because their master will ask for his/her missing cow. Since no one want to appear dishonest at their job they rather defend the cows live with their last breath.
