What other options did the Nigerian people have at the ballot? It was between two poor candidates and they took the lesser of two evils so what are you whining about? If there is something you should be complaining about its he electoral system that entrenched two very corrupt parties in power and until there are electoral reforms Nigerians would be forced to pick between bad, worse, worst instead of good, better, best. This is what you should be concerned about instead pointing fingers at different tribes as if all individuals from the same tribe think alike and make the same choices.

I have known pmb since the 80s & always knew he had nothing to offer...

however, how that narrative changed in 2014 was alarming. but it was able to 'fly' because Nigeria presently has a generation of youths who refuse to do research.

once they can't find it on the internet, to them, it doesn't exist. even when they are referred to books, journals & other educational materials that researched issues that had to do with pmb pre-2003, they call it 'trash' or can't summon the brainpower to study...

it got to a head when they even said his educational qualifications don't matter... in this day & age...


furthermore, on the issue of corruption, some people point to the absence of corruption during his stint as military HoS. what they fail to realise is that pmb at the time did not give account, records of fraud were destroyed & the press intimidated into submission... that's why it seemed as if there was little corruption at the time.

pmb is as corrupt as they come, but his own style is to be the determiner of who gets what, when & how. he wants to be the one to determine who becomes wealthy, he doesn't want his authority challenged...

which is why his idea of utopia is having 100m Nigerians going to subsistence farming where they can barely feed themselves rather than industrialising the agric sector where 1m people can feed 200m leaving others free to pursue development in other sectors of economic development...

I think it's everywhere. Demand and supply of PMS iis inversely proportional. I heard NNPC KUBWA, Abuja serves jollof rice and meat as compensation for anyone that waits on the queue all night to get fuel.

I noticed it on Friday and just filled my tank. Queues have been long since yesterday.

The actual price for pls is #171. How to increase fule in an election year is a problem for them..

10days was queue free stations in 80% areas of Lagos this year

Before the election buhari was not a poor candidate to most of you guys. He was the next best thing after sliced bread.

I am sure if there were other good candidates on the ballot they could have been selected. Truth of thr mattter id that your electoral system is so flawed that it doesnt allow good leaders or "outsiders" to come through. Its the same old politically connected and their cronies that get in.

Buhari and Jonathan wasn't the only candidate in that election. Even it was only two of them Jonathan is miles better than Buhari. At least we can use today Nigeria to compare Jonathan Nigeria. Corruption, insecurity, poor infrastructures goes for both Jonathan and PMB but hardship and mass poverty plus genocide goes to PMB alone.

Queues seems to have returned to many filling stations in Lagos. As at yesterday January 20th, while some of the fuel stations in Lagos were closed because they did not have fuel, others that were opened and had fuel, had so many cars queued up to buy from them. How is fuel supply is your area?

while some of the fuel stations in Lagos were closed because they did not have fuel, ...Closed because they didn't have fuel or they have fuel but hoarding it....I don't know of your area oo but In my area, we know they have fuel but the thing is they sell at a particular period of time or whenever they feel like. Most of these "closed" fuel stations have fuel ooooo.

APC is very strategic. They are supply fuel to lagos regularly since 1st of January. I kept buying fuel outside Lagos @#180 and l ask myself, is it only Lagos that is in map of Nigeria? No newspaper or bloggers report the hike because 99% of them are in Lagos. It is time for crocodile dance @ fuel station
