We have 3 vents here. The middle is for the visitors toilets and the other 2 is each to one flat. Good mechanical vent system will make the house odorless and easy for services in due time.

We have different kinds of tiles and designs here.

40 by 40 --Ash-----83ctns Nig.( Parlour &room floor)
40 by 40 -- Berg----15ctns Nig. (Kitchen Floor )
25 by 40 -- 25700--94ctns " (kitchen wall)
25 by 40 -- 5003 -- 51ctns " (toilet wall)
25 by 40 -- 5005 -- 51ctns " (visitors toilet wall diff design)

All tiles are Nigerian made.
We are considering space tiling * it's economical and easy to maintain too

So first of all, the workers have to get the floor clean up, mix the mortar 14 headpan :1 bag of cement depending the size of the room or parlour

Followed by leveling the mortar / screeding the floor

And tile laying

Is either the spacing clip or nail. But I prefer 3"nail for tile spacing. Here we go

However, behind the tile you will see an arrow, the arrow is meant to face one direction. Educate your tilers for excellent job if you want a very good tilling job because 99% of tilers don't know about this.

Yes the labour is for, cast workers, masons, carpenters Iron workers is 235,000 +50,000 for electrician and plumber (As at that stage not for the whole project)


That is just the labour no need to make up what is not (my belief anyway)

The size of the slab is : 8.016m by 16.946m or 26.3ft by 55.6ft

More pics of the floor tile

OK, moving on to wall tilling now.

This tile is 25 by 40mm --- design code 5003

Because it has to be suspended on the wall with a light mortar till when it dry to glue to the wall parmernently, it needs to be so socked in water for 20mins or more in preparation for that.

We are done running the wire through conduit

Septic tank and Soak away.

Size : 12ft width by 17ft length by 14ft depth.

But will cut the soak away at 10ft then continue with the tank down to 14ft. Please stay with us.

Some will done now while some will be after the painting for a better results

Pvc ceiling is on, but not a good idea for a pvc ceiling to be fixed before wall tiles it should be the other way round.

Gud afternoon Sir,pls is it advisable to build a Soakaway/septic tank at the front of ones house that car can drive or park on top.My builder advice me to do it but am not too comfortable with it. Ur opinion will be appreciated... tanjs
