Cattle colony political, connotes British rule over Nigeria – Falae

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Chief Olu Falae, says his farmland has been attacked five times by herdsmen within three years, adding that it is provocative for the government to be talking about cattle colony as solution to the problem.

He spoke with newsmen after government officials and the state Police Commissioner, Olugbenga Adeyanju, visited his farm in Ilado, in Akure North area of Ondo State which was set on fire by herdsmen the previous night.

Falae defined colony as a political entity which someone intends to create in the territory of another person, asserting that it is a provocation, and a terrible thing for government to contemplate.
