The money to be wasted on the so-called building can be used in reviving the Ibom Specialist Hospital, which has been closed for up to 6 months. Same funds can be used in maintaining roads, and building new ones (There are not enough motorable roads in the state, notwithstanding what Godswill did).

To worsen the case about the unemployment rate, the state is one of, if not the richest state in the country. Yet pensioners are being owed and the electricity situation is horrible. Taxes are punitive. It is very unfortunate that people are being sentimental about the article because he mentioned Adeboye. AKS has one of the highest number of churches across all the states I have visited and stayed in. Everywhere nook and cranny, you have churches; very large and exquisite. I have absolutely nothing wrong with churches' edifices, but a government has NO RIGHT to construct religious centres. There is no difference between what Udom is doing and a northern governor will do. Using public funds to build religious centres is ridiculous. Additionally, it's bad that after 12 months on the unfortunate collapse of Weeks' church, nothing has been done.

However, I will not blame Udom. He knows the kind of residents nay citizens he governs. Very credulous when it comes to religion. But I'm not surprised as Akwa Ibomites are Nigerians. With the comments I read here: I can say boldly that Nigerians deserve the kind of rulers (not leaders) they get. Finally, let's face it, Adeboye is not God. He can be criticised and commended depending on his actions.
