Cgfns Exam Dates 2019-Register For Cgfns In Nigeria

For foreign educated nurses who want to migrate to the USA, the CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) offers a variety of services that ranges from authentication and verification of documents, licensing authorities and employers, as well as evaluation of education, work experience and clinical hours in comparison to the United States standards.

The CGFNS Certification Program is designed ONLY for first-level, general nurses educated and/or licensed outside the United States who wish to assess their chances of passing the NCLEX-RN® examination and attaining licensure to practice as registered nurses within the United States.

The CGFNS qualifying exam of nursing knowledge is offered four times a year at more than 50 areas around the world. If a candidate successfully scale through the CGFNS examination, there is a high chance of passing the NCLEX-RN examination. Also, The CGFNS certificate helps applicants to qualify for an occupational Visa.

CGFNS EXAM – STRUCTURE

The CGFNS exam has both nursing section. The exam is a multiple choice and objective internet based test. It is divided into two parts with a total of 260 questions. Candidates should submit anyone; TOEFL, TOIEC or IELTS scores for an eligibility criterion.

Applicants are given 150 questions in the part 1 exam with a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes. You will get a 1 hour break for lunch after you are done with part 1 section. The part 2 section contains 110 questions with a time limit of 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Applicants must successfully complete one of the English exams (TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS) and the qualifying exam within a two-year period in order for test scores to be considered valid.

The minimum passing scores on each of the English proficiency exams are as follows:

TOEFL – 83

TOEIC-725

IELTS- 6.5
