I'm still on a lockdown. Unable to go online due to drivers license upload. I don't understand. Perhaps uber didn't expect that drivers license dey expire. I paid additional 5k so as to facilitate the process of a new one. Now what

Maybe the image you uploaded is blur, try again, by taking a new picture of ur DL and re-upload, it might work.

On numerous GPS issues, we have two major processor chip makers for Android phones ie Qualcomm and mediatek. Apart from Samsung that uses both Qualcomm and it's own exynos chips, Huawei also uses it's own chips

It is a known fact that snapdragon(Qualcomm) chips have better GPS performance than mediatek chips.

So for uber business, it's better to get phones with snapdragon(qualcomm) chips.

Almost all tecno and infinix phones use mediatek chips. I'm not sure if we have any of them using Qualcomm chips, so that may be where the problem lies.

This is not a phone problem, riders fraud was detected and it happens to all card trips not cash

To proof this to u, I had both cash and card trip yesterday, one of my card trip was OK and successful no issues while anoda card trip was deemed invalid as a result of fake ATM card used for the debit

All of my cash trip has no issues, this is common sense now, may b u were using a chinko fone wen u had a similar experience

Over time I've come to realize that drivers need a better bargain. There is the constant pressure to satisfy each rider and of course earn good money.

I have a solution... How about a device that helps to keep the rider happy during a ride and at the same time the driver gets better Ratings ( 5star ) and also gets to earn additional income.

I'm here to introduce Taxi TV...
The rider gets good quality entertainment and he or she is happy.

Driver earns money in the process and gets better Ratings. It's a win win situation for everybody.

All you need is a Tab and if you don't have one, it will be made available and you get to pay from your earnings.

Activation is very easy.. Let's talk: 08028052100 call or Whatsapp

How much can a driver on rental make in a week after rental payment
0 - 60,000.

Depending on state of vehicle, money he spent washing the car, time vehicle spent in workshop, money spent on fueling depending on how thirsty the car is, driver work ethics.

Who knows this guy. He needs to say his part of the story to clear his name. The whole of instablog9ja have tagged him a rapist.
Let me start by saying thank you all for your support so far.
However, my name is Henry Nnaemeka and I’m neither a Rapist nor a Kidnapper. This is my Story.
I’m a taxify driver/ partner, on Thursday the 25th of January 2018 between the hours of 12midnight and 1am I was on my way home from work when I received a taxify rider request from a Ibarhim Eletu Way Which was coincidentally where I was at that time and also same estate I stay, I decided to take that last trip before I go home to rest.
On getting to the pick-up location To pick up the rider (Miss Shola Fapson) she got In my vehicle and just as I started the trip I noticed there wasn’t a destination for the trip so I politely asked her for the destination to know where I’m going to and if it will be convenient for me at that time of the night but she refused to tell me and instead asked me to drive out that she will tell me later, I politely refused and asked severally for the destination but she wouldn’t tell me rather she ordered me in a harsh tone to “Move this car”! On hearing this, I was surprised why she would hold back her destination from me and also ordered me to move the car. It was at this point I told her I wasn’t going anymore, I ended the trip immediately and asked her to come down from the car since we were still at the pick-up location but to my Greatest surprise she refused to come down and then started making some phone calls in Yoruba Language to some people whom I didn’t know disclosing our location to them. At this point, I got scared and was trying to be on the safe side so I drove the car to the front where the estate had a security light which was a few seconds from the pickup location. On getting to the safe place, I came down from the car and politely opened the door and gently asked her to come down from the car. She blatantly refused again and started with her phone calls again.
It was at this point I overheard her conversation on the phone saying she has my car keys and gave out location again to the unknown person at the other end of the phone, I felt really threatened at this point because I couldn’t understand why she would take my car keys and then disclose our location to people I didn’t know. I had to struggle with her to get my car keys from her hands. It was in the process of struggling with her, she sprayed a chemical substance (pepper spray) in my eyes.
I succeeded in getting my keys from her but before I could struggle with my sight and call for help she took off and was nowhere to be found. Some concerned residents and my sisters who heard me shout and call for help came to my rescue. It took me about 45 mins to regain my sight clearly and was taken to my apartment to get some rest only for me to wake up this morning and receive loads of phone calls from friends and family saying I’ve been labelled a KIDNAPPER AND RAPIST. However, the issue has been reported to Taxify and the necessary steps have been taken as shown in their press release. I want to use this medium to thank you family and friends who stood with me in this bad time and also state that I respect women and I am totally against any form of abuse against women.
Thank you all.

@pooozeee, let me analyse it in another way if it will further help you or anyone in case of future reoccurence.

The following map originated from your post I am quoting or replying to. I just have to zoom into the map area which is what matter most.
Now, I want you to first forget any grammar that preceeded the map so as to have an open mind.
For the next 10 seconds, please look at the first picture below and try to see if you could identify something that is wrong with it.

Ok. Now let us look at the second picture together.
You will notice 4 additions to the second picture. Namely, 1, 2, Irregular Red Circle and Green Circle respectively.
How did that got there
I added them grin
The number 1 is where you pick your rider ( i.e 96, Adeniran Ogunsanya St, Surulere.)
The Green Circle on the map confirms that your trip began at Adeniran Ogunsanya St, Surulere. That's cool right? YES!
Number 2 is where your rider drop off. (i.e Adekunle Kuye St., Animashahun, Surulere).
The Red Circle on the map shows that your trip did not end at point number 2, but ended at the beginning of Akerele Street, (beside Alhaji Masha/Adeniran Ogunsanya flyover bridge) as against Adekunle Kuye St, Animashahun.
Did you just ask, 'How is that suppose to be my concern?'

The Orange lines addition to the 3rd picture answer that question.
Can you see that perfect straight line from point 2 to point 3 on the map? shocked shocked
Can you please tell me if you really drive through on that straight line ?
Simply put, Their is no such way to drive through smoothly from point 2 to 3 in that area.

Finally, look at the 4th picture.
Compare the blue highlighted area with the orange highlighted area. What can you deduce?
For me, I can see that your GPS did a very good job from the green to the red points in the blue highlighted area but failed or malfunctioned in the orange shaded area. Gaskiya walahi.

This guy is not a rapist or kidnapper but he is in big trouble. He should never have laid his hands on that girl. The girl has video evidence on her Snapchat, the guy got physical with the girl. No matter how crazy a rider is, violence should never be employed.

I've always thought of a dash cam, I think the time is now.

Still trying to figure out how this E- hailing apps work, especially from a drivers end.

As a rider, I know I had to put in my destination before I am matched with a driver.

So let's assume at the point of matching, the driver does not see my destination and accepts the trip.

Shouldn't the driver see my destination when he actually starts the trip? Or at what point do drivers see riders destination?

How come the driver is claiming he started the trip and there was no destination? I don't think it's possible to even request a trip without setting your destination as a rider, or is it?

As a rider, I know I had to put in my destination before I am matched with a driver.

1. No. You only need to input your pickup point/Location to request a ride.

bily:

So let's assume at the point of matching, the driver does not see my destination and accepts the trip.

2. "Assumption is a mother of all f***ups." The driver does not see riders destination before accepting request.

bily:

Shouldn't the driver see my destination when he actually starts the trip?

3a. Yes. He will if you as a rider put your pickup location and destination while requesting the ride.

3b. No. If you did not put destination when requesting the ride.

bily:

at what point do drivers see riders destination?

4. After starting the trip.

bily:

How come the driver is claiming he started the trip and there was no destination?

5. If the rider did not put destination, the driver will see a blank destination after starting the trip.

bily:

I don't think it's possible to even request a trip without setting your destination as a rider

6. Again, don't assume. Read numbers 1 to 5 again.
