Top of them all is the kangal.

Also known as the Anatolian Shepard and it's originated from Turkey. The following are the characteristics of kangal from my own experience:

Less obedient to the owner especially during attack.

Hot temperament.

Friendly to other dogs (it doesn't sees other dogs as threat).

Fiercely and wild towards strangers.

Defends owners even at point of death.

Doesn't run away from attack.

Excellent tracking dog. can be used to track human and animal movement.

Excellent hunting skills.

Not a pet choice for children..it may trigger hunting instincts.

Often used for dog fighting which is not banned in many countries.

Kangal killed an elderly woman and owner in Akure few years back.

Oga/Madam, this stuff you just posted na crap o, big time.
Kangals and Anatolian shepherds arent the same(at least not by d approved kennel association standards). Though the uk kennel club at a point deemed it fit 2 pronounce both as one and d same n breeders who had d latter chose to stick with that, the Turkish kennel club which is now approved and exists under d FCI has seperated both based on certain features(looks, colour, coat, muzzle etc). The anatolian shepherd is believed by d association 2 b a mutt actually, a combination of variety. Since both originate from turkey, even though much of d anatolian breed exists in Australia today, it follows reason to stick by d standards of the TKC.
Also, Kangals are not dangerous dogs, they have never been classified as one and that is not because popular kennel clubs such as the American Kennel club dont recognise them, it is because they are more of strong than dangerous.
Kangals would top the list of d strongest dogs in d world based on their sheer size.they belong to the large dog breeds and just as d punch of a 28yr old Anthony joshua would hurt more than that of a 28yr old less stronger fellow, so also d bite of a kangal or d pull of its claws would rip more than that of a Dachshund.
Lastly, nobody and i repeat, nobody has and is keeping a kangal at Akure much more an elderly woman suffering a bite from one. The last time 'someone else' kept a kangal in Nigeria(a purebreed ), it was in jos and that was years ago, probably 7-10yrs ago.
Kangals are not your everyday dogs, not unless you are in Turkey ofcourse and are quite pricey even over there, hence keeping one is not quite profitable here unless u sell outside naija or keep as long term company and no1, i tell will let one roam. I know this because i still tried to get 2 puppies about 3months ago, and regardless of me being close to d breeder and prior purchases and being a fellow breeder, i could only price it to €850(asides other payments in bringing it down here). Adults can be as much as €7,000- €10,000. You wont find that in Akure biting a woman, trust me. Its like searching for an Akita in Nigeria
If you dont believe, u can subject all i have said to research. Get your facts right

A pure breed Caucasian is a very Dangerous and aggressive dog. It should replace the Kangal which is a very rare breed in Nigeria and even abroad. I have come across many mannered Mastiffs and Boerboel but i hardly come across calm Caucasians. Caucasians are aloof with strangers. A German Shepherd is even more aggressive than a Mastiff (remember i said aggressive and not bigger or stronger). Aggression makes a dog dangerous and not just size or strength. Neapolitan Mastiff and the Cane Corso are even more Common and equally as vicious as the Kangal. Your list is wrong!

The last on the list of five dangerous attack dogs in Nigeria is the German Shepard also known as police dog and alsatian.

German Shepards are one of the most common breeds of dogs in Nigeria with the following characteristics:

Obedient to owners even when they are trying to attack and the owner calls them to stop they will obey.

Excellent sniffer dog.

Excellent speed (run faster than almost all other dogs).

Excellent guard dog. However it will hesitates to bite. but will be barking around you to intimidate you. When G.S.D is guarding a home do not pick anything in that environment that this dog is trying to protect, lest you end up being bitten.

German Shepard must be trained to attack either by a dog trainer or by d maternal dog before it can attack unlike other top four dogs that are born attacker as a puppy.

High sensitivity.

Equipped with higher eye sight than most dogs (can see far and near night or day).

Eat lesser food compare to Kangal, boerbel, bull mastiff and Rottweiler.

Good for first time owners.

Higher hunting skills than most dogs and a swift attacker of prey. it catches up with prey fast but doesn't kill them faster like the other top four on list (leading to prey escaping most times).

Not as strong and powerful like Kangal, boerbel, bull mastiff and rottweiler.

Good with children.

German Shepard will not attack other dogs or be fighting with a cat.

It can easily be bully by other dogs even smaller than them.

Is the most intelligent dog on the list.

it's a beautiful dog.

GSD can be very fearfull if malnourished or not shown love to by the owners.

I actually concur with over 99 percent of what you wrote. Especially it's reluctant to bite, but very aggressive and intimidating to stranger. Also intimidated by smaller dog, I remember my experience when a small ekuke gave my GSD a run for it's life, lol. Also very good Hunter and highly sensitive to Intruders... Anyway mine just gave birth with some cute puppies for sale

BEWARE OF DOGS.
If your house is not properly fenced and you do not have a cageling or enclosure systems suitable for dogs, do not adopt these top five most dangerous Nigerian dogs that I will enlist here.
To trespassers, visitors, friends and family members and acquaintances etc that are visiting homes that has these breeds must be very careful, please don't visit homes that has them without giving prior notice to the pet owners, they only knows their owners and will attack you without being provoke be it that you run or you don't run away from the attack. Can kill the most vulnerable(women, children and the elderly ones).
They inflict deep injury and destroy the human flesh within a minute of attack before it is subdued or stopped. Lastly once you're bitten by a dog you have incurred the unplanned and inevitable treatment of at least N30,000 and above for anti-rabies, anti tetanus amongst other complementary treatments. The treatments will last for a week, this treatment itself is another traumatic pain that will experienced.

(Check my next post for the list of these dogs).
Top of the morning to my readers.

The kangal is more than a guard dog it will attack while most guard dog doesn't have to.

The kangal has been known to attack lions, tigers and Wolfs successfully, but in Nigeria we don't advice children or baby to be with a big dogs eg Kangal, Rottweiler, Boerbel and bull mastiff dog all the time unsupervised.
We have an adult kangal dog that has attacked five people of recent in which I paid for the medical bills.

if you want it, I will sell it for you sir.

I want to buy please chat me

Fourth on the list is Rottweilers. is a breed of dog originally from Germany. is lesser in size compared to the top three dogs.

A Rottweiler dog is an angry dog with a lot of temperament, without much ado I will pin points the characteristics of a typically Rottweiler.

Obedient to owners when trained and it has higher trainability compare to the to kangal, boerbel and the bull mastiff.

Excellent guard dog and attack dog.

Sensitivity

Hot temperament.

high hunting skills

Excellent sniffer

Life span is shorter compare to the other breeds

Bold

It's known for it's speed

It's known to have bitten thousands of Nigerians yearly.

Not good for first time dog owners like all the top afore mentioned dogs

Rot is not a sniffer Dog change that
