Today is my brother's wedding. He asked me to get a matching Black wedding suit for hm n myself. (I am hs bstman) in December because I ordered things a lot online.

I tell him DT d suit will cost us 30k each. He sent me 60k.
But I saw a cheap suit on JUMIA. Dey say It is foreign n I ordered for two.(1 for him & one 4 me) I bought it 8,900 each.

I used my cousin's addrex in Lagos to receive the order because my town Ekwulobia does not HV gud addres system.My cousin just return yesterday night for the weddn n handed me the suits.

I opened it n almost die.

JUMIA have killed me.
The suit almost fits my 9year old cousin brother
N the material is like school uniform.

Pls do not buy any suit or clothe 4rm JUMIA.
I am confused
I hv scattered my brothers wedding which is by 11today because of sanitation.

HW do I report myself 2 my brother?
Wt will we wear 4 d weddn today?

OP you try... you might av ordered the suit trully from Jumia, but i am definitely sure, it is not meant for a wedding...

That was how I ordered for a jacket on Jumia which was on overseas category. Only for the cloth to be delivered and what I saw was trash. Silk material was used to sew one rubbish like that.

Your mistake was waiting this long to receive it. You should have found a substitute fast when the suit failed to arrive at least 1 week to the wedding. I believe you figured out a solution. Happy married life to your brother.

This was the same suit I planned on ordering for my FYB dinner till I read reviews on the same suit. My people na so I jump am pass. Sorry bro. But I was still scammed sha. Ordered for a joggers online through Jumia. I was already imagining myself on it pre delivery (I am sure you guys understand that feeling). When it came, I cried. The material was dead.

Moral of the story: Don't order for clothing items online. Even if you must, read reviews on them. It is very sacrosanct.

Sorry about this. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get your money back from them. If you are lucky, a voucher for another purchase will be issued to you but, it doesn't have to be so. You will never get your time back but with us, you will get what you paid for or get your money back, simple.

Jumia has a Quality Control Check. Vendors can't ship what is not on site as they will be charged 50k when item fail this test at the point of shipment. If this story is true, then you didn't check the size before ordering. Again Nigerians are funny, people want to buy quality products at peanut prices. It's not possible nah. Well sorry man.

For those saying the op is lying, he is not.
We ordered two wedding suits for groom from jumia. The rubbish we got form them got me so angry. I will never buy clothing's from jumia. Never. The material is wack and the size is too small for even testing.
