Good evening guys, has anyone submitted application for TRV recently?, please is there anywhere in the application where you are instructed to provide your address history for the last 10years?

Someone please respond
It mustn't be up to 10years, just fill the one you have

Good evening everyone,

I got admission to Uni of Manitoba to study Pol studies,

I want to self sponsor..

I work in financial services...

Don't really have ties to home and have about 11 million saved in my account and some in investments.

My first year fees are 11,000CAD and continuing are about 1000CAD. I am getting a scholarship of 5,000CAD and need to know if the money i have is adequate and the steps to take. I actually cant afford to be rejected.

Please help guys.

Thank you!
The program is for hoe many years? If you intend sponsoring yourself then the vo will expect you to have funds for the entire program in your account (tuition and living expenses). So the duration of the program will detrimental if your #11mil will be enough but I always advise people to include co-sponsor even if the person won't be adding much

Please advice needed

I want to get a loan to help my cause for approval,
Do I need to leave the money in my account until my visa is approved or Do I return the money back before approval.I have 2million personally and I want to borrow to make it 10millon.

I graduated 2012 Electrical Engineering, since then I have not worked in my field.how do I explain that in my SOP cos I do business.

Borrow just to upgrade your account? So which fund will you use when to study when your trv is approved? Certainly 2mil Won't be enough for your studies.

Hi,

There are a lot of possible loop holes in what you're planning to do.

You'll definitely have to give the VO concrete proof that you've been busy since graduation hence your employment history will go against you and you'll be classified inadmissible.

If you borrow the money, you'll have to convincingly explain to the VO why you have a lump sum deposit just prior to your visa application else you'll be getting a definite denial.

If you go ahead to borrow you can return the money immediately after you get your statement of account but the problem I think is that in a case where you're denied visa be it for financial reasons or otherwise and you have already returned the borrowed money, you'll have to borrow again to apply for visa again. Any meticulous VO will notice the trend of lump deposit prior to your first application, a withdrawal after the application and another deposit prior to your second application. That's gonna be a no no leading to another denial.

Think carefully before you do anything.

Cheers
I’ll love to requote this!!!!Guys don’t complicate things further!!!!!

what do you mean by official admission, is it by paying the required tuition deposit and send the acceptance form?
Lemia:

Hi,

The big question is have you gotten your official admission letter?

If yes then you can proceed with visa application. Otherwise, just learn all you can about the application process while you wait for an official letter.

Congrats on your admission.

Cheers!

Hi everyone, been a bit silent here but been following the thread seriously.

I got admissions to RRU and UCW and I am a bit undecided as to which school to take.
UCW seems to have bad reviews online but I am also considering locations and the lengths of study.
UCW (University of Canada West): Vancouver, 24 months, small scholarship and so lower fees by about $8,000 CAD
RRU (Royal Roads University): Victoria, 18 months

Please tell me you are not seriously considering going to Canada with 2 million. If you are banking your hopes on getting a student job, please be advised that getting a student job in Canada is not as easy as Australia. There is no guarantee that you will get it, or that if you do get a job, you will earn enough to cater for your tuition and living expenses.

Make no mistake, being financially stranded in a foreign country like Canada is far worse that being completely impecunious in your home country.

Thank you guys.
What I did differently was that this time I applied online instead of paper and also I attached a letter from a lawyer explaining and defending and tackling all the refusal reasons with excuses. I would share fully when I get my passport back and all.

Thank God for your successful trv application. Please Ma , i would really appreciate it if you can send me a copy of that lawyers letter.

I said official admission letter not official admission.

It's a letter from the school offering you admission and stating things like tuition, resumption dates, funding etc.

You need to show it to apply for study permit

Please am new in this group but getting along with the information provided, I’m A working class type and I work in a construction company trying to get some fund in order to sponsor myself for my masters program in Canada, I’ll love to get More details on the following

2) during the masters program, can I fend for myself in terms of getting work to cater for my feeding and accommodation

3) is there any hope of getting better job after the masters program or during the masters program?

Please if all above can be possible I’ll like u to enlighten me more !
Or if you have a relative or friend that is there and ready to help I’m a gentle guy that has no flex for trouble and I promise to remain one!!

I need help
I was just recently denied f1 visa on two occasions to the US, I am 25yrs and I seek a degree program, I am about to apply to a school in Canada, but I need help, what are my chances of getting admitted n granted visa. I don’t want to experience another denial . And also do u think I should reapply to the US. I also don’t have any prior certification to show them.

Use an agent to package your application, because the odds are quite high. I can link u to good ones, u don't have to pay a dime until your visa is out

Pls help

Same here, was denied 3 times, so that's why I wanna try Canada this time around

1. I doubt there are masters programs that would require just 1M. Also your living costs alone could be up to 3M.

2. You can get work but it's not guaranteed plus it's not sure you'll get enough to cater for your needs

3. There are chances of getting good jobs after masters If you know what you're doing

Good evening House,

Trust the weekend has been awesome!

Please I would like to find out if its okay for my sponsor (my brother) to do his affidavit of sponsorship in the US. He requested for the format so he can take it to the court to get it done. Will that be accepted?

Kindly advise.

Thanks
