May I appeal to EEDC (Enugu Electricity Distribution Company) to do something about the unfortunate light situation in Umuahia since the last couple of months, even though it seem to have become worse everyday. As I type, the whole of Umuahia is in darkness! Even when the light comes, it is usually a very low current that cannot power on electric gadgets like AC, Fridge, washing machine, etc. unfortunately, they never forget to bring outrageous light bills even when there is no light. Most homes in Umuahia have no pre paid meters! This lives us at the mercy of EEDC who bring estimated bills. |
